He loves following his humans from room to room, sitting with the family to watch TV, and being part of whatever is going on. • Together: They are a loving pair who groom each other, play, and share a strong bond. They are well-mannered household companions who do not jump on counters. (Like many senior cats in transition, they do best with good litter box access and a stable routine). Due to an unexpected family situation, we are facing an urgent crisis. We recently moved into a very small apartment with a newborn, and we have realized that we physically cannot provide the space, environment, or care these sweet boys need and deserve. Jingle is a 6 y.o. fixed, domestic short hair with a bit of anxiety. We think he nay have been abused in his first home, as to begin with he is afraid of everything and everyone. With proper attention and affection, he warms right up to his humans though. He understands that the ones who bring treats and food are safe people. When he's feeling playful, he enjoys a good game of laser pointer or feather on a string. When he's relaxed, he's a soft and lovable lap cat. He has happily lived and loved kids and other cats, but prefers a calmer, low-stress environment. Recently his owner passed away and he's had some stress digestive issues. However, he has a clean bill of health from the vet and all his shots are current, he just needs a bit of security and love.

Rusty is a rescue cat. One day when our yard was being mowed after the bushes had grown for sometime, the landscaper notice some of the other kittens scattering as the lawn mower got closer so he stopped cutting the grass to investigate. Him and my roommate realized there was another cat left behind (Rusty), at a closer glanced she realized why. Rusty was unable to scatter like his siblings because his eyes was glued shut from cold, and his back legs could not move. When we brought him in the house he looked to be about 3 weeks old. We immediately took him to the vet to get his eyes treated, and after 2 weeks he was able to see the world with no problems. He was also treated at that time for ringworms Rusty received his first round of shots, but those shots have elapsed so he would need to start his shot cycle over. Rusty is a very happy and playful kitten. He loves attention and kisses. We were trying to keep him but our 2 female cats do not seem to like having him around.

🧡 LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! 🧡 This beautiful orange tabby girl has quite a story. She was found living among a large colony of abandoned cats behind a local restaurant. Our original plan was to trap, spay, and release her, but it didn’t take long for us to realize that she may have once been someone’s beloved pet. She will happily come up to you for pets and attention, but she is not a fan of being picked up. We’re working with her on this and giving her the time and patience she needs to learn that she is safe. ❤️ She has already been: 🐾 Spayed 💉 Rabies vaccinated 💉 Received her distemper vaccine Because of the circumstances in which we found her and the survival instincts she developed, we feel she would do best as an only cat. We are unsure how she would do with dogs. This sweet girl has survived on her own, and now she deserves something she may not have had in a very long time — a safe home, patience, love, and someone who will give her the chance to live her best life.

Marley is about 5 months old and she was found as a stray in Philadelphia and taken to ACCT Philly. They found she had a broken leg and a very large umbilical hernia and their shelter vet recommended that she be transferred to another rescue ASAP in order for her hernia to be fixed and her leg to be amputated. Marley was transferred to Journeys the second week of August but when we took her to an orthopedic vet, it was recommended that we hold off on the amputation for another couple of weeks because she was showing signs of possible healing. We kept her calm to promote better healing and she is now fully using her leg! Marley is an exceptionally sweet kitten who gives kisses, purrs constantly, doesn't mind other cats, and enjoys playing. She's an all-around great girl! Please contact Journeys for an application.
