Story
We adopted Ponyo from a friend. He is a little over a year old. He loves to play but does get a little ruff depending on how he is playing. He is very curious and hates being alone but he also doesn’t like to much cuddles, unless he initiates it. He talks when he wants attention. He also loves looking outside.

Story
We were given our girl by a friend of a friend who needed to rehome her. I am unsure of whether she is microchipped or not. Jeany is about 6 years old, pushing 7. She was just shy of a year old when we took her in. When we took her in, we did not have any kids yet. Just a young couple. After I became pregnant with my son, Jeany started to pee on things around the house. We took her to the vet and they could not find anything medically wrong with her. Once he was born, she got worse. Urinating on all of his and my fiancé’s things and pooping outside of the litter box. We took her to the vet again and again, nothing medically wrong. Well, my son is now 5 and I just had my second baby and I cannot care for her any longer. She does well when it’s just her and my mom while my kids, fiancé, and I are on vacation. She uses the litter box normally and doesn't act out when we’re away. Shes a sweet cuddly girl that just doesn't jive with kids (and maybe men?). She deserves a peaceful quiet home

Story
Nikko is an exceptionally handsome tabby boy with a big personality. He is a very friendly kitty who enjoys spending time with his people and seems to like dogs. Nikko thrives on being petted and is fine with being held. As with most kitties he enjoys playtime. Foil balls, catnip toys and the turbo scratcher are a few of his favorites. Nikko is a social boy who adjusts quickly to new people and places. Nikko tends to be a bit bossy with the other cats especially around meal time and lets them know by swatting at them. We feel he would be happiest as an only cat or with one other cat who will respect his space. We also feel he will do well with dogs with proper introduction. Nikko cannot wait to have a family to call his own! Nikko is about 2 years old, ( as of 3/1/25), neutered, up to date on vaccinations, negative for Felv and positive FIV.

Story
This cutie pie is Ginger. Ginger is an affectionate kitty who enjoys spending time with her people. She can be a tad shy to start but she warms up quickly. Ginger is a bit overwhelmed with all the other cats in her foster home but will be fine with another cat as long as that cat does not want to directly interact with her. She can also be an only cat. Ginger is dreaming of the day she has her own family to play and spend time with. Ginger is about 2 1/2 years old, ( as of 4/1/26), spayed, up to date on yearly vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV.

Story
Vito is a handsome tabby boy looking for his own person to love. He can be shy side at first so he needs someone who will understand he may need time to adjust to his new home. Once he feels "safe," he is quite the lover boy, so your patience will pay off! Vito loves to be petted and is a bit of a talker. He is fine with being held for short periods of time. As with most kitties Vito enjoys playtime! Spring toys and wand toys are a few of his favorites. Vito gets along well with the other kitties in his foster home and would love to have a friendly resident cat to show him the the ropes. Vito is a good kitty just waiting for someone pick him...he would do best in a quieter home. Vito is about 1.5 years old (as of 10/25), neutered, up to date on yearly vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV.

Story
Meet Yuba! This darling little girl was an orphan kitten rescued at two weeks old along with Tofu, another kitten from the same property. Yuba made a full recovery, but she arrived in foster care with a severe infection in her right eye. Thankfully, with antiviral eye medication, her eye and vision were saved, but her right eye looks slightly imperfect. Yuba and Tofu have thrived in foster care and are now ready for a home of their own. Yuba is a petite girl, but she has a gigantic personality. She may seem quiet at first, but she easily wraps every person she's with around her little paw. Yuba was in critical shape when she arrived in her foster home, but it was obvious from the start that she is a true survivor. She made an amazing recovery and is now a playful, loving little girl. Yuba has a relaxed, laid back disposition but while she loves lap time and pets, she also loves to play. When Yuba was spayed, our vet discovered she has a mild deformation of sternum called Pectus Excavatum. Because Yuba has a mild form, the biggest concern for her is undergoing any procedure requiring anesthesia and she may develop a heart murmur or arrhythmia. Our vet feels Yuba's condition is minor and she will have a normal life, only needing special considerations for surgery. For this reason, we feel Yuba would do best placed with an experienced home. Yuba is going on 4 months old (born 3/11/2026), spayed, up to date with yearly vaccinations and negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. To meet lovely Yuba, please email Lori at apcatrescue@gmail.com. Yuba will not disappoint you!
