Story
About Socrates & Aristotle: • Socrates: A sweet, affectionate boy who adores human company. He loves nothing more than curling up on a lap the moment you sit down and gently pawing for attention. • Aristotle: A loyal companion with a fun personality. He loves following his humans from room to room, sitting with the family to watch TV, and being part of whatever is going on. • Together: They are a loving pair who groom each other, play, and share a strong bond. They are well-mannered household companions who do not jump on counters. (Like many senior cats in transition, they do best with good litter box access and a stable routine). Due to an unexpected family situation, we are facing an urgent crisis. We recently moved into a very small apartment with a newborn, and we have realized that we physically cannot provide the space, environment, or care these sweet boys need and deserve. All vaccines up to date.

Story
Link was originally rescued as a kitten with his calico sister who now lives with my mom due to territory issues. He is very friendly with humans however. Link is just about to turn 12. He loves to lay in the window or on the floor in the sunshine and will sleep unless you wake him to play. He is very low maintenance and I wish we could keep him. Unfortunately our new apartment won't allow cats.

Story
Doctor Who (Doc) was born April 11, 2015 and we adopted him with his brother. Everything was great the first 5 years, but there has been a fight for dominance the last 6 - resulting in injuries to 1 or both cats. There are continual issues with spraying and peeing outside the litter box to mark territory, etc.Every vet visit has shown that it is not a physical issue, but behavioral, and after trying many therapy methods and medication nothing has proven effective.Doc gets along with our female cat superbly so we know it is not an every cat issue. The male cats have been separated in the house for the last 3 years. This has proven ineffective and Doc is stressed resulting in his peeing/marking.We love Doc immensely. He needs to be the only male cat in the home to have a happier life.Doc is extremely friendly once he knows you and loves belly rubs and laying in a sunny spot. He can be pretty vocal if he “thinks” his food dish is empty and if you have toast, he is your best buddy.

Story
Very sweet fixed female cat for re-homing. Linda was dumped by her previous owners and we took her in. She is very loving and super sweet to people. My 4 year old can carry her around and she doesn’t care. She is fixed and up to date on rabies and distemper shots and I have the spay certificate. She is litter trained and has never had an accident. She is not really a fan of other animals though. Hence why we are trying to find her a good home. Please let me know if Linda would be a good addition to your household.

Story
Grace’s story is one of resilience and second chances. In early February, she appeared at a property during a cold spell and began using one of the outdoor winter cat shelters for warmth. The property owner quickly realized something was very wrong — Grace was extremely lethargic, her body temperature was dropping, and she was suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection. She was rushed to the emergency veterinarian, where she received lifesaving care. At the time she weighed only 5.5 pounds and was very close to death. Thanks to proper treatment, good nutrition, and a loving foster home, Grace has made an incredible recovery. In just one month she has gained weight and strength, now weighing about 8.5 pounds. Grace can be shy at first and needs time to feel safe with new people. After a recent vet visit, it took her about a week and a half to fully relax again with her foster family. Once she feels comfortable, however, Grace is incredibly affectionate. She loves to cuddle and will beg for attention whenever her people are nearby. Because she is sensitive to new people and sudden movement, Grace would do best in a calm, quiet home without young children. When visitors come over, she tends to hide until things feel safe again. Grace may also have a sensitivity to fish. After eating wet food containing seafood, she developed a small bald spot on her side. Her foster has switched her back to chicken-based food and is monitoring her as the hair grows back. Grace has come so far in such a short time and deserves a patient, loving home where she can continue to feel safe and cherished. With a little time and understanding, this sweet girl will reward her new family with endless cuddles and affection. 🐾

Story
Hi, I’m Maui, a handsome 7-year-old boy looking for a very special ONE-CAT-ONLY home where I can be the center of my person’s world. ❤️ I’m a sweet guy who struggles with anxiety when other cats are around. I tend to over-groom when I’m stressed, and I truly believe having a home where I don’t have to share my space with other pets will help me feel much more comfortable and confident. I’m also not a fan of dogs and would prefer a peaceful home without them. When I become overstimulated or feel jealous because of other pets, I may bat at your hand or growl. I’m not trying to be difficult—I’m simply letting you know that I need a calm environment where I can relax and feel secure. What I’m really looking for is simple: my person, a quiet home, and lots of love. 🥰 I know that being your one and only cat is where I’ll be happiest, and I’m ready to show you just how wonderful I can be when I feel safe and comfortable. I’m neutered and up to date on my vaccines, and I’m hoping my perfect person is out there waiting to give me the quiet, loving home I deserve. Could you be my forever person? ❤️🐾
