Story
We got Gracie from a shelter 10 years ago and at that time they thought she was 8. I do not think she was 8 because today she does not act like an OLD cat. She talks and is friendly. We had a dog (30 pound Shitzapoo named Jack) and the two of them were best friends. Jack and Gracie would lick and groom each other. Jack died last year at 17. We love Gracie but our daughter is in need of a home and needs to move in. She is violently allergic to cats and dogs. So we need a place for Gracie for her final few years. She is a great cat. Her only challenge is her eyesight is not fantastic but she navigates our home just fine. Please help. Our daughter needs to move in in a couple weeks. Thanks much!

Story
Birdie was a young mama who had two litters of kittens prior to turning 1. She lived outside and had a rough life from the get go. After she was trapped, a loving foster home socialized her to be the sweetest little girl in the world. She is officially ready to find her forever family! She is good with other cats, tolerates children, and is a serious lovebug with humans. She is on the shyer side, but comes out of her shell quickly with pets.

He is gentle and loves everyone. My wife found him in her recycle container at work. Him and his sibling lost their mother, so I raised them both feeding them with a bottle until they could feed themselves. He is a real affectionate cat and loves to meow all of the time.

Story
I found this little girl on a run and she was severely malnourished. When I took her into the vet all the labs came back completely normal the plan was to find her a good home as I had another cat already but we didn’t know anyone interested so she turned into our second cat. Unfortunately her and my other cat do not get along he’s a male and very territorial. It’s become too much to handle as I am now pregnant and they fight constantly. She’s a very loving cat but she can be skittish at times and needs to be in a home without other pets or kids. I’m not quite sure her age just because I found her but the vet estimated her to be no older than 4. She will go nuts for food and can become vocal around her normal meal times but I found her staving. She loves to cuddle and loves being under covers. She needs someone who is patient gentle and caring.

Intake Reason: Surrendered, owner`s healthKnown with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Kids: Unknown ·Dogs: UnknownCute and playful, kittens are bound to bring life to any home! These high energy felines are great additions to families with time to dedicate to playing and helping the kittens learn and grow. Having another young cat or kitten as a playmate for each other is also a good way to keep them active without having to give them your constant attention. Kittens play hard and sleep hard, oftentimes to extremes. Mischief runs through every kitten`s veins, which can sometimes be overwhelming. Although they always look adorable and cuddly, please remember that tomfoolery and high energy are just around the corner.

Story
**I`m available for adoption as a Working Cat!**· Intake Reason: Stray· Socialization: Unsocialized to people. I spent 1 month in a foster home and decided I prefer my own company rather than people.· WCHS recommends I am an: Outdoor catWorking cats are the unsung heroes of the outdoor community. These outdoor-savvy cats thrive in environments where they can put their natural instincts to work. They excel at pest and disease control, helping keep rodents at bay, and they often form bonds with the people and animals who share their space.Adopting a working cat is simple and incredibly rewarding. Caretakers must provide the essentials-shelter, food, and water-and have a small temporary space, such as a large wire dog crate, to quarantine the cat for two weeks after adoption. This settling in period helps the cat learn that your property is home. All working cats come already spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and adoption fees are `name your own price.` If you`re looking for a natural pest control partner who brings a little extra life, your property, a working cat might be the perfect fit.If you`re interested in adopting me as an outdoor cat, please fill out an application online on the working cat page.
