Story
Location: Seattle, WA (needs adopter within 2-3 hours of Seattle) DOB: 1/25/2024 (estimate) Meet Gertie! This HIGHLY affectionate, high-energy girl wakes up ready to live her best life — especially after a good night’s sleep or a cozy afternoon nap. She thrives on companionship and loves being close to her people (leaning against you is her signature move). And she is an EXPERT cuddler! Once properly introduced, she’s friendly and warm, and she forms strong, devoted bonds with her family. She’s smart, eager to learn, and very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. With calm, confident leadership and consistency, she truly shines. Expect a loyal shadow who follows you from room to room and happily curls up for snuggles when playtime is over. • Potty trained • Gentle treat taker with excellent soft-mouth control • Comfortable with grooming and vet handling • Playful zoomie champion with adorable bursts of energy • Loves toys (rubber and plush) and will enthusiastically chase tennis or soccer balls • Surprisingly into massage gun spa sessions • Leash skills are improving — she’ll benefit from continued practice • Does best with structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement • Cats & kids unknown. Her ideal home has a good-sized yard with space to run, a canine companion to hang out with, and a family ready for an affectionate, food-motivated companion. https://forms.gle/G2dJx2NV4JXZcZ9F6

Story
Evangeline is an amazing pup! She came to me from the Seattle shelter as a rescue who was abandoned and malnourished. The shelter got her back to full physical health and I took her from there. She came potty trained and does well with a crate or safe space for herself. She knows many basic commands and is a polite little lady. She loves people especially her person. She does have separation anxiety that may require time and attention that I don’t have at the moment. She will back when her person leaves. And she will follow around the house. I know with the right building of trust she will be the best pup for your family. As far as other dogs, she is curios and has had success meeting other dogs on the street. But while in foster care she exhibited some recourse Harding, so I would not house her with other pups. Evie is a perfect girl who deserves so much love, as she has a ton to give back!!

Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
