Story
Meet Bloo💙 A Colt in Disguise with a Gentle Heart 🐶 When you first see Bloo, you will instantly fall in love with him. Bloo is a playful dog with a face that will melt your heart. He runs like a colt exuberating his freedom which he never had in his early years at Mass Dog Slaughterhouse till his rescue last year. When you enter his crate for cleaning, you have to prepare yourself. Blue’s eyes are lit up when he sees you and eagerly invites you to play with him. Bloo loves to climb on your back and showers you with kisses. It is amazing to see Bloo still has complete faith in humanity despite of the horrible ordeal he had to endure in the Slaughterhouse. Our Bloo is dedicated to people and gets along with other dogs. His love of life now is the representative of our rescue agency but you can be the next one. Bloo is so ready to find his forever home that he is always dreaming of.

Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Clare to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Clare is a 12 week old Great Dane/Lab mixed puppy. She is already 20 pounds and should be 70 pounds full grown is our best guess. She is crate trained, goes potty outside on a schedule. She is learning to use a wee pad. She is good in a car and good on a leash. She is good with all people and a very social puppy. She is around other dogs and does great. She will have some nice skills and work since she is in foster care and will stay there until she finds her new forever home. She was found as a stray on the streets of San Antonio. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is a puppy and likes to put things in her mouth. We call that mouthy. We would love someone that loves the Great Dane breeds. She would love to tag along on all your outdoor adventures. Anyone that knows the Danes know they can be energetic and they can relax. She is also a good combo of both. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Charlie is a 2.5 year old mastiff mix weighing in at a whopping 100-pounds! He LOVES people, but most of all he loves his humans. He is good with kids, but due to his size older kids would be a better fit. Charlie is good with dogs after he has a proper introduction, as he can be a rude greeter. Charlie aims to please and would do best with a strong, disciplined leader in his life. He has been enrolled in professional training for about 1.5 years, so he knows all of the basic commands and has good manners. He is leash trained, kennel trained, and house-broken. Charlie is a medium to low energy guy - he loves hikes, walks, and playing fetch. He’s only good for about 5 throws before he wants to play hide-and-seek! He is very smart and loves to learn new tricks. He was adopted 2 years ago and has been in the same home since, but adjustment has been difficult due to cats and a horse.
