To know Amber is to love her. This sweet, easygoing girl is 7-8 years old and is spayed & microchipped. She is so lovable and will snuggle as desired. She enjoys getting brushed including her teeth. Ambers is happiest when she is hanging out nearby her family but also loves chilling in her crate.She likes walks & but is also fine with backyard relief. She likes playing gently with toys, enjoys belly rubs, plays well at dog park, loves kids/people, has passed an intermediate training class and is very well mannered. If you give her a small mat, she'll get right on. Her favorite tricks are: spin, shake & roll-over.Amber comes with all her supplies (crate, food, toys, etc). She is up-to-date on vaccines including flea/ tick meds & had a recent full dental cleaning.Amber is a true gem, ready to bring warmth and love to her forever family. The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog, please visit our website to complete an adoption application. It is in the ADOPTION folder at the top of our home page. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. Hammy is sweet, gets along with other dogs, and has the cutest apple-shaped noggin you’ll ever see. Although she’s a senior, she still has plenty of energy for playing pickle ball, knitting, and telling you about all the neighborhood gossip. Here’s some notes from her foster: Gail is a petite, short legged chi who wants to be your best friend. She can be shy at first but warms up quickly and then just wants to be nearby her favorite person/people. She would likely do well as an only dog or with a pal to hang with, especially if you are away from home a lot. Being that she is small and in her senior years, we believe she would be fine with children who are older, respectful, kind and gentle with her. Hammy is housebroken and has not had an accident inside. She eats well and has put on a little weight, which she needed. Since we don't have stairs, we don't know if she will be great at stairs or not. She mostly hangs out in her bed at my feet but also checks out the world at the living room window. She has a little bark when new people come to the house but will stop when you tell her to. She is okay at home alone (with my other dog) but will whine a bit at first, then settles in her bed until you return. She clearly would prefer to go with you on your adventures!
