Story
Meet the affectionate boy, Chuups🩵 Chuups and his 10 siblings were rescued without their mother from Korean City Shelter when they're babies in 2021. His other siblings met their forever family and he's the last one now. *Separation Anxiety: Not an issue when other dogs are around, but some when left alone. Training required for outings without other dogs. *House training: 100% on pads! Perfect even in unfamiliar places. 💟 Personality / Characteristics *He eats everything well and has no allergies. His lower jaw is shorter than his top jaw congenitally. Must be careful with hard treats/bones. Because of his jaw, he has difficulty picking up food/treats from the floor & doing nose work. *He approaches cautiously when meeting strangers & unknown dogs but once getting close, he’s very sociable👍🏻Gets overwhelmed by hyperactive dogs *Popular among pup friends 😆 Male puppies love him and gets along well with gentle dogs *Giving him plenty of time and waiting patiently for him in a new environment or with a new person, he’ll adapt well anywhere! ❤️ *Fearful of strangers who make loud movements or sounds *Rarely barks. Barks only when he’s unhappy with something or afraid. *Great on walks, great recall *Gets cold easily. Wants to be picked up if on a long walk on a cold day *His foster family has enrolled him in a doggy daycare *Likes going to doggy daycare and other pups love him *Fearful of water but tolerates baths well *Does well with wiping paws, nail clipping, and brushing his teeth👍🏻 *Mastered Sit, Down, Paw, Wait, House, and sleeps in his crate overnight ❤ 💙 Chuups's Foster Instagram 👉 @pongxdang

Meet Lami💛 Lami and his brother came to Korean city shelter without their mom and were rescued together. His brother already has found his forever family, but Lami is still staying with a foster family while waiting for his forever family. *Separation Anxiety: None. He plays well, sleeps well, and is great at potty *Potty Training: Uses his pee pad well 100% success! If his human is gone for 2-3 hours he waits until they come back. *Vomits from lamb meat sometimes. 💟 Personality and Characteristics *Keywords: #lively #charmer #slightly timid *Energy Level (1~10): Lv. 5 *He loves other pups very much, regardless of size! If he meets a doggy friend while on a walk, he approaches wagging his tail, and does a play position lying down! 😀 *Can be overly energetic which might scare other pups sometimes 😂 *He loves people! 🥰 A little wary initially, but warms up quickly and follows them around. Adorably puts his little butt on people’s laps and asks for pets💕 *Energetic and lovely doggo 💕 *He sometimes barks because he's surprised by the big actions of children. *Rarely barks from outside noise. *He is fully leash trained. He does very well while on walks👍🏻 No marking and rarely pulls his leash! *Fearful of sounds - hair dryer, wind, rain hitting windows 😭 He became less sensitive to the sound of the wind now. *Sheds a bit *He gets on cars well, but drools and pants during the ride. Waits patiently and doesn’t whimper. *Mastered: sit, paw, down, house, and wait👍🏻 *Favorites: butt scratches, people, food 💙 Lami’s Foster Instagram 👉 @imbo__takgu

Story
Meet Rani ❤️ * Toward People: Very affectionate, constantly reaching out to the family to be petted! She takes a while to warm up, when she gets to know someone. When she does, though, she will come over with a wagging tail, kiss them, and sit next to them when they call her name.😆 * Toward Dogs: Got along well with other dogs at the Center! Does not seem really interested in other dogs, but when she does see them frequently, she resorts to and plays nicely with them. Exibits no sign of hostility but may show signs of unease when approached suddenly or by larger dogs. * Toward Cats: Does not show much interest in cats and gets along well with them. * Separation Anxiety: Not at all. Enjoys her own time. *Potty Training: 100% prefers outdoor potty. * Hygiene: Loves being brushed and maintains composure when brushed repeatedly. While giving her a bath and using a dryer, everything is peaceful. Is learning how to be tooth-brushed. * Walks: Fearful of cars, warning alarm, and noises of children. Short walks in quiet places is what she is currently practicing, and she follows well once acclimated. A double leash is necessary as she might startle and pull on the leash. * Feerful of being harnessed. Requires to wear the leash gradually in order to be comfortable. * Car sickness: No motion sickness but panting occasionally. She can get inside the vehicle by herself with no problem. 💌Special Note💌 * She is frightened by sudden touches or approaches, loud noises, and abrupt hugs. * When terrified or overly excited, she may have piss accidents. * In elevators, she quietly sits in a corner and waits when someone enters. * She is easy to get up and down from elevated places. * Avoids making contact with anything on the desk. * She knows her meal times precisely and even gives a morning call for them 🤣

Story
Meet Maru🩵 He was abandoned by a foreign worker who left for their home country. Then he came to Korean City Shelter and rescued by ADOGS. It took about a year for Maru to slowly open his heart and trust people again. Now, with the love of his angelic foster family, he's preparing to meet his forever family!💓 *Separation Anxiety: Improved a lot and nearly non-existent now. *Housetraining: Prefers outdoor potty, morning and evening walks are important. Uses indoor pee pads if needed. -Dogs: Loves other dog friends. Politely greets friends during walks and got along very well with the previous foster dog. 🐶 -People: More comfortable approaching people who are sitting than those standing. *Bark: Doesn't bark at strangers and warms up gradually. *Absolutely loves being petted and gives lots of kisses! 🤍😄 *Excellent at walking. Used to get a bit excited, but now handles crowded places well. He enjoys his own walks even when others pass by and might playfully surprise people with a big reaction. *Excellent recall. Responds eagerly when called by his name! *Cleans his paws and tolerates brushing after walks. Doesn't particularly enjoy baths but endures them. 💦 *Almost doesn't bark. Occasionally howls happily when the family comes home but stops quickly. *Has a somewhat picky appetite. 🤣 *Impressive waiting skills—can wait for a family at the store for 20 minutes! *Enjoys having his own space and likes eating treats on a cushion or bed. *Quite scared of thunder and lightning. *Moderate shedding. *Doesn't experience motion sickness! 🚗 *Knows commands like sit, wait, come here, let's go, and recall! *Favorites: Jerky treats, walks. 💙 Foster's Instagram: @yeonnam_1031

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rocky My name is Rocky. I was abandoned when my owners moved away. I don't know why they left me behind. But fortunately, I was fortunate enough to be found by kind people who helped me get my life back on track. I am a healthy and strong 5.5-year-old who gets along well with other dogs. I'm looking for a nice couple or an adult to be my forever companion. Sorry, I'm not sure about kids, as they tend to scare me. I have been neutered, microchipped, and I am up-to-date on my vaccines. I also had a complete dental check-up on November 29th, 2023.  I'm currently in Washington, having moved here from California, and I'm eagerly waiting to find my forever family. Cheryl, the founder of the rescue that took care of me, says that I have dreamy eyes and a sweet personality. I'm also very intelligent. However, I may be a bit shy and nervous initially because of all the scary experiences I've had in my life. But if you're patient and gentle with me, I promise to be your BFF forever. I do tend to like woman more then men but if a couple adopts me, just give me the time I need to get to know the man of the home and we can be good buddies. The rescue organization that is helping me find my new home says that I need a patient and experienced person who understands that trust takes time to build. I don't give my love easily, but when I do, you'll have my whole heart. I growl at strangers in the home, but with fear-free training, patience, and love, I can learn to trust again. I'm a love bucket waiting to be filled with affection from my new companion. I trust women more than men, but I can learn to trust anyone who is kind and caring. How Can You Meet Rocky? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.CICI Cici is a 5-month-old Chihuahua and Jack Russell puppy relinquished by her owner. She was terrorized by the children of the home. She needs an adult-only home and preferably one familiar with these breeds. Cici is in training to be housebroken. She is learning to use a doggie door and doing very well. Her foster siblings are teaching her how to be with humans and in a pack. Cici loves having dog friends. She will not do well as an only dog as she has never been without other dogs around her (I.E she has never been alone) Cici has bonded with her foster sister Misty. We would love if they could be adopted together. If Not,m there will need to be one or more small breed and plyful young dogs in the home for Cici to grow up with. UPDATE : Cici is coming out of her shell and showing her puppy mannerisms. She is being mentored by her foster siblings and is learning how to be a happy puppy.  Cici is smart and should train easily. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. SOPHIES' JOURNEY. Sophie was discovered as a young puppy wandering the streets of Bakersfield. Sadly, her head was covered in injuries caused by an unknown animal. The rescue team that found her took her to the vet and discovered that Sophie was blind. She was in a vulnerable state, and it was shocking to think that she had been wandering the streets blind, alone, hungry, and scared. Anna, a rescuer and sister to Shannon, who runs Emm and Mals Animal Sanctuary and has been caring for Sophie, called and asked if Rompin Paws Rescue would take Sophie and place her in a loving home. Sophie is 1-year-old, spayed and current on vaccines. She is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. She loves to bond to a woman and can be slowly introduced to men and she will be fine. Sophie learns her environment quickly and navigates it so well you would scarcely know she is blind. It will not be easy to walk her on a lead, so having a good size yard that she can run in circles and play while under supervision is the best scenario for her. She lives to chew on her split deer antler and squeaky toys. Sophie wags her tail furiously in anticipation when you are entering a room, she is so happy to know you are there. If you love a snuggle pup and have the time to spend with this wonderful girl, then you may just be a match. Update: We recently introduces Sophie to two very friendly Maltese-poodles and once she realized they were not going to hurt her, they quickly became friends. Sophie is so pleased to have dog buddies to share her days here at the rescue. How Can You Meet Sophie?
