Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, fully recovered from heartworm (negative upon retest), and dental scaling done. * Has a severe underbite/malocclusion, and his upper and lower left canines were broken due to being interlocked. The upper canine has been extracted during dental scaling. 2. Rescue Story * Binnie had been at the Gimje City Shelter for a long time without being rescued due to limited space at the Adogs center. One day, his weight suddenly dropped, raising health concerns. Adogs stepped in just in time to rescue him. 3. Basic Information * With People: Is wary of strangers and is on guard with guests that visit the home. Is especially wary of men. However, shows affectionate charm towards familiar people and has an energetic side. Sticks right by people he likes. * With Dogs: Is gentle and coexists peacefully with other dogs. Doesn’t show much interest in other dogs and doesn’t approach them first to greet but is polite enough to respond to greetings of other dogs on walks. * With Cats: Doesn’t show much interest in cats but may bark if they approach him suddenly. * Separation Anxiety: Does very well when left alone at home! * Potty Training: Prefers going outdoors, but does well indoors too. No marking habits! * Grooming: Handles baths, brushing, blow-drying, and tooth brushing like a pro! Even at daycare, stays patient during bath time. Trimming nails is easy once a bond of trust is built. Has a habit of biting his nails, so he's only getting his nails grinded rather than cut for now. * Walks: When excited, he tries to run ahead. But most of the time, he matches his pace with his handler and doesn’t pull on the leash. Keeps his attention on his handler and walks either beside or behind them. After coming home from a walk, he goes to the bathroom and sticks out his paws to get them cleaned. * Car Sickness: Rests well in a car without motion sickness. * Biting: Sometimes bites defensively toward strangers due to wariness, but this has improved significantly. Has some resource guarding and can be a bit wary of men, so caution and patience are needed. * Barking: Rarely barks at home except briefly when his meals are being prepared. May occasionally bark when a person or a cat approaches him suddenly. * Personality: Is a true angel—a "Giving Tree" in dog form! Once he trusts you, he gives his whole heart. Is not comfortable with sudden touch but patiently endures it for his person, expressing his deep affection with his pure, clear eyes. Likes walks, playing with a squeaky ball and doing nosework with treats but is afraid of loud noises, such as top-loading washing machines, vacuum cleaners, or motorcycles.

Found on the side of a Texan highway at 6 months old, Nala had a tough start to life, but after a short stretch in a foster home, she joined my family where she has been loved and cared for like nobody’s business. Nala is now 5 years old and has been with the same family since her initial adoption. She’s the SWEETEST girl & wants nothing more than to snuggle her human all day every day, but given her start in life, she can be fearful/defensive. In particular she struggles with men & young children. She would do best as the only pet in an home. Any rehoming fee is only being collected to ensure her safety, and will be donated to the shelter I adopted her from.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Angel is as sweet as her name. She was found as a stray during a storm, and sadly, no one ever came looking for her. Now, after everything she has been through, this beautiful girl is ready to find the forever family she deserves. Angel is a quiet, gentle girl with a calm, submissive personality, but we're happy to say that she's really starting to show her playful side! She loves attention and is happiest when she's getting love from her people. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate and has so much love to give. Angel gets along well with other dogs. She has done a wonderful job coming out of her shell at the rescue, and we know she'll continue to blossom in a loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and spoiled. When Angel arrived at the rescue, she had a mammary tumor. We had it sent out to pathology, and thankfully, the results came back clear! She has received the care she needed and is now healthy and ready to start the next chapter of her life. We don't yet know how Angel does with cats or whether she's fully potty trained, but based on her gentle, loving nature, we think she'll make a wonderful companion. Angel is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. Her adoption fee is $300. Angel is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. We are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
