Story
Maxi and Myra are a bonded mother–daughter pair of purebred Toy Fox Terriers from championship lines. Maxi joined our family at just 8 weeks old, when my children were in middle school. Later, her breeder bred her, and that litter had only one surviving puppy, Myra. We kept Myra so Maxi would have company and so the kids could experience raising a puppy together. Myra is now 6, Maxi is 8, and both are under 9 pounds, healthy, and fully up to date on vaccinations. My children are grown and off to college, and with my work keeping me in Seattle, I’m not able to give these two the daily attention and engagement they deserve. They currently enjoy a fenced yard and a cozy dog house, but they thrive most when they have people, especially children, to play with and bond with. Maxi is calm, affectionate, and loyal. Myra is playful, energetic, and wonderful with kids. I’m looking for a loving home that will keep them together and give them the companionship and family life they truly enjoy.

Meet Binnie🤍 💙 Binnie’s Updates Account: @biniiii_eo 1. Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, fully recovered from heartworm (negative upon retest) * Has a severe underbite/malocclusion, and his upper and lower left canines were broken due to being interlocked. The upper canine has been extracted during dental scaling. 2. Rescue Story * Binnie had been at the Gimje City Shelter for a long time without being rescued due to limited space at the Adogs center. One day, his weight suddenly dropped, raising health concerns. Adogs stepped in just in time to rescue him. 3. Basic Information * With People: Is wary of strangers and is on guard with guests that visit the home. Is especially wary of men. Doesn’t show interest towards people he meets on walks, but becomes wary if they approach him. Shows affectionate charm towards familiar people and has an energetic side. Sticks right by people he likes. * With Dogs: Is gentle and coexists peacefully with other dogs. Doesn’t show much interest in other dogs and doesn’t approach them first to greet but is polite enough to respond to greetings of other dogs on walks. * With Cats: Doesn’t show much interest in cats but may bark if they approach him suddenly. * Separation Anxiety: Does very well when left alone at home! * Potty Training: Prefers going outdoors, but does well indoors too. No marking habits! * Grooming & Hygiene: Handles baths, brushing, blow-drying, and tooth brushing like a pro! Even at daycare, stays patient during bath time. Trimming nails is easy once a bond of trust is built. Has a habit of biting his nails, so he's only getting his nails grinded rather than cut for now. * Walks: When excited, he tries to run ahead. But most of the time, he matches his pace with his handler and doesn’t pull on the leash. Keeps his attention on his handler and walks either beside or behind them. After coming home from a walk, he goes to the bathroom and sticks out his paws to get them cleaned. * Car Sickness: Rests well in a car without motion sickness. * Biting: Occasionally shows defensive nipping toward strangers due to wariness, but this has improved significantly. Has some resource guarding and can be a bit wary of men, so caution and patience are needed. * Barking: Rarely barks at home except briefly when his meals are being prepared. May occasionally bark when a person or a cat approaches him suddenly. * Likes: Likes walking, playing with a squeaky ball and doing nosework with treats. Wiggles happily when his butt is petted. Is extremely affectionate and deeply attached to those he recognizes as his guardians. * Dislikes: Is uncomfortable with sudden touch. Thanks to consistent desensitization training, he has improved a lot. Ample time and training are necessary before appropriate trust building. Is afraid of loud noises, such as top-loading washing machines, vacuum cleaners, or motorcycles. Is wary of strangers coming into the house. * Tricks: Has excellent recall (comes when called). Has mastered several commands like 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'other paw,' 'nose,' 'high-five,' 'kiss,' and 'house.' * Personality: Is a true angel—a "Giving Tree" in dog form! Once he trusts you, he gives his whole heart. Even when faced with things he dislikes, he patiently endures them for his person, expressing his deep affection with his pure, clear eyes.

Story
Found on the side of a Texan highway at 6 months old, Nala had a tough start to life, but after a short stretch in a foster home, she joined my family where she has been loved and cared for like nobody’s business. Nala is now 5 years old and has been with the same family since her initial adoption. She’s the SWEETEST girl & wants nothing more than to snuggle her human all day every day, but given her start in life, she can be fearful/defensive. In particular she struggles with men & young children. She would do best as the only pet in an home. Any rehoming fee is only being collected to ensure her safety, and will be donated to the shelter I adopted her from.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet  Mowie , a charming Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a survival story as cool as the storm he escaped!   Born around  August 4, 2024 , and weighing in at a sturdy  15.9 pounds , Mowie is the definition of a "tough guy with a heart of gold." He was discovered hanging around the guard shack at  Randolph AFB  just as a major ice storm was rolling in. The kind-hearted guards had been sharing their lunches with him to keep him going, but they knew he needed a warm hearth to survive the freeze.   Mowie is a truly great boy who is ready to trade base security for home security. He does have one quirky "occupational hazard": he’s a bit of a serial humper when it comes to other dogs, which hasn't always won him friends at the park. However, he was  recently neutered , and we are optimistic that this will help him keep his "enthusiasm" in check as his hormones settle down.   Mowie’s Stats: Birthday:  ~08/04/2024 (approx. 1.5 years old) Weight:  15.9 lbs Background:  Air Force Base veteran & lunch-sharing expert Personality:  Resilient, social, and brave If you’re looking for a loyal companion who has been "cleared for duty," Mowie is your man! You can apply for him at www.adoggie4you.org.  His adoption fee is $300.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 1:30 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Angel is as sweet as her name. She was found as a stray during a storm, and sadly, no one ever came looking for her. Now, after everything she has been through, this beautiful girl is ready to find the forever family she deserves. Angel is a quiet, gentle girl with a calm, submissive personality, but we're happy to say that she's really starting to show her playful side! She loves attention and is happiest when she's getting love from her people. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate and has so much love to give. Angel gets along well with other dogs. She has done a wonderful job coming out of her shell at the rescue, and we know she'll continue to blossom in a loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and spoiled. When Angel arrived at the rescue, she had a mammary tumor. We had it sent out to pathology, and thankfully, the results came back clear! She has received the care she needed and is now healthy and ready to start the next chapter of her life. We don't yet know how Angel does with cats or whether she's fully potty trained, but based on her gentle, loving nature, we think she'll make a wonderful companion. Angel is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. Her adoption fee is $300. Angel is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. We are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
