Story
Hi, my name is Chimenea! If I had to describe myself, I would say I am funny, playful, and happy. I love going for walks, playing with stuffed toys, running, and even car rides. I dream of finding a home where I get lots of love, regular walks, and maybe even a friendly female dog as a companion. I do best in a home without small children, and I am ready to give all my love to the right family. I was rescued after wandering the streets for many days, and now I have been waiting 2 years for someone special. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
Meet LolaLola is a calm, affectionate, and shy young dog with a heart full of love. She was rescued along with her friend Paco after being abandoned by a former owner struggling with addiction. Despite this rough start, Lola is a tender soul who just needs a little time—and a few treats—to show her true, beautiful personality. She loves to eat, play, and run, especially when she has other dogs to keep her company. Lola does best in a home with a patient, loving person who can help her feel safe, and with other dogs to play with and learn from. She knows some basic commands like "stay," "come," and how to walk nicely on a leash.Lola is still nervous around loud noises and raised voices, likely due to past mistreatment. She would not do well in a home with cats (she chases them), or one where she’s left alone for long periods. Because she may try to escape, a secure home (not open or unfenced) is a must.If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who will reward your love with trust and devotion, Lola might be your perfect match. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
Hi, my name is Iron. I am a happy, playful, and very loving dog. I enjoy running, playing, and teasing my dog siblings just to make everyone laugh. I would love a home with a big yard and an active person who likes to walk, hike, or do any sport where I can come along. I do great with other dogs, and having siblings helps me stay entertained and joyful.I was found after being hit by a car, with a fractured tibia and femur. I was rescued, treated, and given a second chance. Now I walk and play like any other dog, and I am full of life. I know how to sit and come when called, and I try my best to be obedient because I love making my person happy.I am loyal, energetic, and ready to be your best friend. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. Story
We got Rin when she was 1yr old from Ginger’s Pet Rescue. Over the years we have acquired 3 cats all of whom Rin respects with indifference. She is almost cat-like in behavior because you will find her always snuggling next to you in a tight little ball. Her favorite thing is to just follow you around to every room you are in and just chill next to you. She visits our dog-friendly office and gets along with a variety of other dogs. We have realized over the years that we live too active a social life to keep leaving our dog in a crate so frequently. She is house broken and can hold it for 8hrs with no issue. We only crate her because if we leave her uncrated in the house she has a chance to pee near the door due to separation anxiety. When people dogsit her and she is left uncrated when they leave she doesn’t pee, so isn’t an age or bladder issue.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. **Meet Beau: Your Future Furry Companion**   **Five-year-old Beau** Introducing Beau, a stunning Jack Russell-Papillon mix affectionately known as a Papi-Jack. At just 5 years old, Beau is a devoted and affectionate companion who, despite his initial shyness, can quickly transform into your most delightful friend. His joy when he sees his favorite human is heartwarming, as he eagerly seeks love and affection. If you're looking for a furry friend to fill your heart and home, Beau is ready to give his all to someone who will cherish him forever. Behold, gorgeous, sweet, and wonderful Beau. Beau originally came from a hoarding situation, was he was locked up for most of the day in a large crate with other dogs. He runs free at the rescue, as a crate's confinement is a stressful situation for him. Beau needs and loves having a yard to soak up the sun and take potty breaks. While he enjoys the company of one to two dog friends for socialization and will do well to have buddies, he can also thrive as the only dog, soaking up all the attention. An adult-only home is essential for Beau, as he can be frightened by children or grandchildren, which may lead to anxiety and biting. His shyness means he prefers a calm, quiet atmosphere where sudden movements and loud noises don’t startle him. Are you searching for a sweet, loving companion who wants to be by your side every moment? Beau is the playful friend you've dreamed of, eager to bring joy into your life. He boasts a medium to long, soft, silky coat that requires regular grooming to keep him looking his best. Known for his cleanliness, Beau enjoys being brushed, showered with attention, and receiving those all-important hugs. He's housebroken, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Beau is not just a pet; he's a loyal companion who forms deep bonds with his special person. As a natural watchdog, he’ll let you know when guests arrive, but he will appreciate a quiet spot to retreat to when unfamiliar faces come over. With just 1-2 close companions, Beau becomes the ultimate lap dog, showering you with kisses and hugs once he feels secure in your presence. He gets along wonderfully with small dogs and enjoys playing with older puppies. Due to his Jack Russell heritage, Beau has a strong prey drive and needs a home without other small animals. So, no cats, mice, reptiles, or similar pets can join the household. **Ready to Make Beau Part of Your Family?** If you’re intrigued by the prospect of welcoming Beau into your life, please use the link below to apply for adoption. Our dedicated team will review your application, address any questions you might have, and ensure you’re a great match for this lovable pup. To welcome Beau into your heart and home, there is a $450.00 adoption fee. Every dollar goes towards covering medical care and helping us rescue more dogs in need. Don’t wait—complete the online application via the link below and provide as much information as possible. Let’s work together to find the perfect match for both you and Beau! https://rompinpawsrescue.com   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 25, 2026, 12:52 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. **KIWI** Kiwi is a seven-year-old purebred Jack Russell Terrier with a big personality. He loves chasing balls, going for car rides, walks, and running in the sun. Like many Jack Russells, he can get possessive over toys, so if he lives with or visits other dogs, it's best to put toys away. Kiwi has never had to share his things before, so he can be protective of them. He would do best as the only dog in the home, but with careful management of toys, he can live with other dogs without problems. Kiwi enjoys car rides and is always ready for an adventure. At home during the day, he keeps himself busy chewing on an elk antler or napping. In the mornings and evenings, he likes spending time with people. Kiwi came to us from an overcrowded shelter after his owner passed away and no family members could take him. He arrived with a limp, but after a week of eating a high-quality diet, taking joint supplements, using a muscle builder, and going on gentle, longer walks, he is moving much better. We ask that his adopters continue with this food and supplement routine to help him stay healthy and active. Kiwi should have his hip checked by a vet, but we are happy with his progress and believe his stiffness was mostly due to being kept in a small cat cage at the shelter. Kiwi is affectionate, curious, and adventurous, and he bonds quickly with people. Because of his strong prey drive, he needs a home without small animals, including cats. He would do well with older children who are experienced with dogs. **Adopting Kiwi** To adopt, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application and follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns, and determine whether you are a good match for this pup. If a match is made, the next step will be a meet-and-greet. Please use a computer to complete the application, as tablets and cell phones may disrupt the process. Kiwi has transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble and focuses on a healthy, canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition.   The adoption fee for Kiwi is $495 and includes his vaccines, rabies, and a microchip. Kiwi is Neutered.       www.rompinpawsrescue.com   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 25, 2026, 10:38 am
