Story
Teddy is the cutest puppy we have ever seen! He's a tiny little chaos bear - full on teething and the typical puppy high energy...he adores wrestling with his foster siblings - his best friend is a 50lb pit bull mix (also up for adoption!). Teddy requires a home with other dogs in it. He is fine with children though no babies as he is so small that rough hands can hurt him easily. He is still working on housetraining so please dont apply if youre not willing to housebreak him. Teddy is fostered in Hoston TX and will not be transported until adopted. His adoption fee is $850 (plus transit if not local). In order to be considered as his new paw-rents, you must fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. Inquiries to this ad alone will not receive a response due to high volume and low follow though by adopters.

Story
Cheetah is a 4 year old 10 pound poodle/terrier. She’s soo sweet but very anxious. She’s very quiet, & stays in one spot and balls up and falls asleep instantly. When she eats she likes to move all the kibble out the bowl and eat it off the floor sometimes. She’s very shy. She has been around other small dogs and they get along great, but she doesn’t really seem to want to play with them. I do find her sometimes playing alone like chewing on a toy or even jumping on and off the couch for fun since that’s something she recently learned how to do. Overall she’s very sweet, quiet & loving. She sleeps the whole night, and in the be. She is doing well with potty training & pees in the dog park. Likes to pee in spots and does really well with popping first thing in the morning. She’s just very anxious, doesn’t like loud noises She is good with children, and sits well in a car. She is definitely food motivated. She’s just soo sweet, and she does this thing where she will just look into your eyes and do a little jump it’s soo cute.

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Etienne is incredible and the sweetest little girl wrapped up in a tiny package.  Her back leg doesn’t stop her from doing anything.   She is incredible in the car.  She just wants to be around people and her foster dog siblings.  She loves to be outside and playing with her toys she loves to sleep in the bed but she also loves to go in her crate.   She is pretty much potty trained she just wants to go anywhere you go.   This girl is a survivor who hasn’t let a rough start dim her light. She’s the ultimate companion—fierce, sweet, and incredibly gentle. Etienne doesn't just want to be at the party; she wants to be the star of the show! Whether she’s playing with her toys, enjoying the breeze outside, or snoozing in your lap, her gratitude for life is infectious. She knows what she wants (and isn’t afraid to speak up!), but what she wants most is a person to follow everywhere. -----

Story
Koko is as charming as they come! This darling 7-year-old miniature poodle is eagerly searching for his next cuddly buddy. Koko has two favorite past times - snuggling and playing. And he does them both with maximum enthusiasm! Koko does well with other dogs and cats, though any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Koko will likely do well with older, gentle kids. Koko does have some skin allergies and will need more vet care than the typical dog to keep him in tip top shape. If you're ready to welcome home this teeny little lad, send in an adoption application today! **Koko is currently in a foster home and is not located in the shelter. Please fill out an application if you're interested in adopting him.**
