Story
Curly haired Pelican is hoping to be your new lap buddy! Snuggling with his person is his favorite way to spend his days. And cuddling with him will be your favorite part of the day! We don't know how Pelican is with other dogs or cats, so any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Because Pelican is on the shy side, he will likely do best in a quiet, dog-experienced home with just teens and adults. If you're ready to welcome home sweet Pelican, make an adoption appointment today!

Story
"Izzy" - purebred, apricot, toy poodle puppy, 5 1/2 mo. Approx. 5 1/2 lbs. Fully vaxed. Just old enough to be neutered if you desire. Housetraining in progress. Learning doggie door. Sweet, gentle nature. Loves soft toys. Adopted about 4 mos. ago. I was recently hospitalized and diagnosed with heart failure which has impacted my mobility and energy level. After coming home I realized that I no longer had the physical ability to care for an energetic puppy. I am left with no choice but to rehome Izzy. Breeder cost was $500. Asking $350 rehoming fee to defray nearly $1,000 spent so far on vetting, vaccinations, grooming and supplies. Izzy will come with all the essential care items including playpen, bed, bowls, soft toys, food, Vet records and grooming supplies.

Story
Triscuit is a fluffy little feisty nugget. He’s an amazing Toy Poodle puppy. He wakes up, plays hard like he’s the size of a German Shepard but will hit his limit and cuddle up in a ball close by, or on top of, his human for a quick nap. He doesn’t have the best appetite and is a picky eater, so nibbles through out the day, which doesn’t seem to affect his energy level at all, he’s still has lots of energy. He recently turned some of his toddler sounding whines into ferocious little barks and it’s the cutest thing ever. He loves to play with kids and adults alike and he especially loves being held. He’s not potty completely trained, but he’s pretty good about going potty outside or on the pee pads in his pen. When he’s tired he puts himself to bed and sleeps pretty well on his own, but sometimes likes to party in the middle of the night and needs a reminder that it 2am and not 2pm. He’ll likely mellow with age and improving comfort with his surroundings. All things said, he’s a spunky, fun, cute little pup and will make a great addition to any family. He takes frequent puppy naps. Sleeps most of the night on his own in a puppy play pen. He would prefer to sleep on or near you, so he sometimes can have a hard time re-settling at night. He potties outside in grass mostly. He will pee on pads if not taken out soon enough. Going out right after he wakes up is a good idea. He is good with children and stuffed toys, but doesn’t have much experience with cats or other dogs. He especially loves stuffed toys and drags them around and thrashes them about. He provides an endless source of amusement to the humans in his world and will be happy to liven up your home with love and laughs. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Take 5 is a sweet, playful little cloud of a puppy who is ready to find his forever family! He is a toy Poodle. He is smart, curious, and incredibly gentle for such a young pup. He loves playing with toys, exploring his surroundings, and then curling up for cuddles. Take 5 does well with humans and gets along nicely with other dogs his size. He enjoys companionship and would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to build confidence and learn. Because of a mild weakness in his left front leg joint, Take 5 will need a family who is mindful about keeping him at a healthy weight and avoiding rough jumping or high-impact play. With proper care, monitoring, and a balanced lifestyle, he can live a happy, active life. He just needs a little extra thoughtfulness to help him stay safe and strong. Take 5 is looking for a family who will cherish his gentle nature, continue his training, and give him all the love he deserves. In return, he will give you endless affection, loyalty, and the sweetest little puppy eyes you’ve ever seen. He sleeps in his a pen on his bed sleep and sleeps soundly throughout the night. He knows to only poop and pee on a pee pad. His weak joint is on his front left leg. Good with other dogs, with children, and with other small animals. He rides fine in a car. Could you be his forever home? 🤍 -----
