Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees, but if the potential adopter is willing to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The absolutely sweetest girl you will ever meet, Miss Merci was in a brutal cold cement cell in a kill shelter in CA. Her picture broke us with her missing her fur. Her skin was all red & she had a coat on with her big beautiful eyes begging for help. 1 of our ladies seen her picture & started crying. We knew from the moment we seen Merci’s picture in the shelter we had to rescue her because absolutely no one was coming to save her. How she ended up there is mind boggling. On this day we actually got 3 dogs out of 2 different high kill shelters in CA & this was a great day. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Merci how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home. Merci was bought back to the WA state from CA where she is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. We will never ever understand how Merci ended up in the kill shelter in CA. She is not the girl you see in these pictures to the girl we got out of the shelter. It’s unbelievable how different she looks now. Her skin was red, her fur was barely there & she was begging for help. She is beyond grateful to get out of that hell hole & is such a soft gentle little soul. Our vets said while she was there they all grew to love her & when it was time for her to leave one of them almost made us cry with how much she loved Merci. She was nervous at first but realized very quickly that everyone there adored her. Merci’s foster mum said, she has such a easy going personality, loves everyone, from other dogs, to kids, to all adults. Wags her little tail furiously & constantly. Loves attention & cuddling. Slept next to me in my bed all night & snuggled up against me. Playful & energetic, healthy eater, knows basic commands, easily trainable, follows people around & wants to be with us. Licks us lovingly & she has no dislikes. Merci loves to be loved by you picking her up & snuggling with her. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home, & be cared as she should be. Once she knows & trusts you she will be your best friend. She is a little nervous at first but that does t last long at all. She is worried about what’s going to happen to her now? She adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. She also wants to sleep in bed with you & just to be with you. Merci is really good with being bathed & groomed, she is so tolerant. Merci loves to eat & is a wonderful eater, she is not shy about that. She would still need work walking on her harness & leash as it’s all completely new to her considering we don’t know if she was taught until coming into the rescue. Merci loves her dog friends so much in both foster homes she was so good with the dogs. Not all the time, just when she feels like it but loves sitting & laying with the other dogs. She does not discriminate against breeds. Merci’s new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard. She has always been with other dogs & she adores other dogs so in her forever home another dog or dogs is mandatory in her forever home for her to have her best life. Merci rides beautifully in the car & considering the only times we know of was when she was transported to WA & when we got her & she had done so amazing in the car. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Merci as you can imagine spent such a long time in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Merci where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Merci is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Merci has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in her foster home in CA & WA state & she is currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. Merci needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, she absolutely adores them. She enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have her with other dogs in her loving foster home. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take her to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Merci is roughly 8.5 lbs, she is 7 years old & a toy poodle, what she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she is spayed, treated for eye discharge for 7 days, which is all cleared up. She had a major dental with a scale & polish along with dental x-rays. Merci had gum surgery & extractions of 3 minor premolars, 1 minor molar & 4 minor incisors removed. Her fur was so thin & missing in places, her nails were long & overgrown. Her fur has been growing back in beautifully from when we first got her. She is up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Merci with bringing her to WA with her travel costs from CA, her medical care in WA, etc & bringing than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Merci has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have had her around older children & she has done amazing with them, & is fostered with them but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children, cats & dogs. We were not there when Merci was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Merci’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Merci potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Merci & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Merci who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Merci has an adoption fee of $850 & does not even come close to what we have spent on rescuing her & medically. She is now ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Spirit is a mature  neutered male poodle born in 2013 that has been through hell in his  life.  He was a loving companion until his momma left him with a relative that apparently abused him. When he got here he would  charge and attack anyone he felt was a threat.  We got him 07/01/2016. Now he loves getting treats and being groomed.  But when he has had enough, he gives a warning growl.  He hasn't bit anyone in three years, but he is not suitable for a family with children because he is unpredictable.  He wants to be loved on, but gets jealous if another dog comes up for attention.  He really needs a home with someone who is patient and kind.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 5, 2023, 6:08 pm

More evil of these babies being money making machines for these people. The evil for these amazing souls is never ending for what they hear & see is soul destroying. Johnny & his beloved brother Roland we bought from a puppy mill breeder who was going to make them into breeding machines in a puppy mill in Missouri to make money off their backs. On this day we actually got 8 dogs out of there. We were able to buy all of them only to stop them from having a life of misery over & over again for evil human beings to make money off of them. 3 of the female mums we got have been used over & over. Their poor little bodies could not take anymore. Life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better for all of these sweet souls. All of these loves, had ear mites & giardia straight from the breeder & we knew that these horrible days were behind them as we were going to get them what they needed. We cannot thank our wonderful team enough for stepping up & helping Roland & Johnny & the other 6 loves. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Roland & Johnny how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home. Johnny was rescued/bought by us by another wonderful rescuer for us who we were working with & got Johnny out for us. Just as always we are beyond grateful to these rescues & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies & there is also such a large financial responsibility when rescuing these babies, so we cannot begin to thank them enough. Johnny was bought back to the WA state where he is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Just like his brother, all he knows now is such joy & happiness. Johnny is fun, fun & more fun. He loves to run & play & have the time of his life. It’s clear he is making up for the time he & his brother Roland were confined to cages. That’s all they knew. Well those days are over. What he has seen & heard which is a lot in his short time on this earth is unacceptable. His foster mum said he is spirited & full of energy & just wants to play & be happy. He absolutely does enjoy being picked up & given love & snuggled with. He is a little less energy than his brother but they are so very similar in personality. He is also a great eater. We have been working on putting more weight on him. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He also wants to sleep in bed with you & will snuggle up to you & the other dogs. He really adores the younger dogs & running with them. He also enjoys snuggling with other dogs & sleeping with them. Johnny is really good with being bathed & dried. He & his brother have yellow staining on their fur which we are trying to get out but will take some time. We see this all the time unfortunately when these poor souls sit in their own urine.we also put Johnny into a daycare & he has done really well. He would still need work walking on his harness & leash as it’s all completely new to him considering he was never ever taught until coming into the rescue & he still is a baby. In his foster home he was so good with all the dogs. In his current foster home he loves to play with the dogs. He does not discriminate against breeds. Johnny’s new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard. He loves going outside & playing with his foster siblings & his beloved brother Roland who he adores. He has always been with other dogs & adores other dogs so in his forever home another dog or dogs is mandatory in his forever home for his to have his best life. The dogs need to be small to medium size dogs. Johnny rides beautifully in the car & considering the only times we know of was when we bought him & took him from the breeder. To our foster homes & vets he has done so amazing in the car. We are looking for a crate free only home. He spent his whole beginning of his life confined to a crate environment & for breeding runs. If put into a crate he will let you know he wants out. Johnny as you can imagine spent the beginning in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Johnny where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Johnny is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him & never give up on him. Johnny has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in his foster home in CO & WA state & he is currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. Johnny needs to go to a forever home with another young dog or dogs in the home, he enjoys the company of other dogs especially smaller dogs & we currently have him with other dogs in his loving foster home. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another young dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Johnny is roughly 9.9 lbs & 6 months old & a bichon frise, what he is mixed with we are not sure. He is male & neutered by laser by our wonderful vets. He was treated for ear mites & girardia, microchipped. He is up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. The stinking pure evil for these amazing souls is never ever ending. Mickey’s mind body & soul would have been used as a breeding machine in a puppy mill in Missouri to make money off his back had we of not bid on him & his sister & many more sweet souls. We were able to bid on him & in fact bought him to stop having a life of misery over & over again for evil human beings to make money off him. Living his life outside in the stinking heat day after day then in the freezing cold in winter time in a metal tin can of a shed was over. His life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. On this day we rescued a total of 14 breeding mum & dads & puppies who all they knew was to breed in a life of hell & then being sold to start the cycle all over again. Of course when we rescue these amazing souls they have had no veterinary care whatsoever & we have to start from scratch. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Mickey how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home. Mickey was bought back to the WA state where he now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. This was a scary one for this boy, if we had not been there & bid as much as we did he would of ended up being used as breeding machine for as long as a breeder wanted to breed him. For everything he has been through, he adapted quite quickly to his very devoted foster home. Don’t let this face fool you his foster mum said. He thinks he runs the show & is king of the castle. He has this very round small fluffy body but the most ginormous personality you have ever met on a dog. His foster mum said he is so demanding & thinks everything is all about him. She said he is the most precious little bundle of joy though, he loves to be loved & held & cuddled & adores cuddling up to his sister & foster siblings but it’s his world & we are just living in it. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. When he first arrived in his foster home he did not know what to do with the food & treats. But now with his food & treats he will knock you over with enthusiasm to get to that food. Nothing stands in his way when it comes to food. He is obsessed with it. In his foster home all of his food is made for him & he eats clean. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He would still need work walking on his harness & leash as it’s all completely new to him. In his foster home he explores the fully fenced backyard but is not to fond of being outside & wants to always be inside. He does not discriminate against breeds. Mickey new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard. He has always been with other dogs & he adores other dogs so in his forever home another dog or dogs is mandatory in his forever home for him to have his best life. Mickey is roughly 6 lbs, he is 3.5 months old. He is a lhas apso puppy, what he is mixed with we are not sure, male, he is neutered by laser by our wonderful vets. He is microchipped, had all his shots & is up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV & dewormed. Next month he is old enough for his rabies. We were able to bid on her & in fact bought her & her sister to stop them having a life of misery over & over again for evil human beings to make money off her. Living her life outside in the stinking heat day after day then in the freezing cold in winter time in a metal tin can of a shed was over. On this day we rescued a total of 21 breeding mum & dads & along with a couple of puppies who all they knew was to breed in a life of hell & then being sold. With Mochi’s sister Boba she actually was sold with a fractured leg & our vet has no idea how long her leg had been fractured for so that tells you what these sweet souls endure. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Mochi how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home. Mochi was bought back to the WA state where she is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. What these sweet souls see & hear is just disgusting. After everything she has been through she is still so sweet. She is beyond grateful to get out of that hell hole she was in & radiates gratitude. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding she can snuggle up in, a roof over head that’s not outside. Her foster mum & dad said she is so food motivated & will even steel her sisters food if she can. She has a bigger personality than her sister. But let’s face it, her sister is in recovery with a fractured leg. But both girls do love each other dearly. Mochi is a sweetheart & yes she love’s attention & wants to be loved & held & given all the love. Who can blame her? She enjoys the outings/adventures she gets to go on when her foster family take her out. She adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. The goal is for these sweet babies to sleep in bed with you because she would love that. She is such a lovely little lady who just wants to be loved & to make up for her past. She would still need work walking on her harness & leash but her foster home takes her out for walks & she gets excited & will steamroll over her sister to go for a walk with enthusiasm. She has always been with other dogs & she adores other dogs so in her forever home another dog or dogs is mandatory in her forever home for her to have her best life. Mochi needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, she enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have her with another dog in her loving foster home. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take her to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Mochi is roughly 14.8 lbs & she is 8 months old. She is a American esky, what she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets. She is microchipped & is up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Mochi with paying for her from a puppy mill auction in Missouri. Bringing her to WA with her travel costs, her transportation to WA. All of her medical care in WA etc & bringing her to WA than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Her adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on Mochi. Mochi has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Mochi was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Mochi’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Mochi potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Mochi & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or Zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Mochi who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Mochi has an adoption fee of $1650 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
