Story
Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. BDRA has voted against the use of eletrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Percy is part of a bonded pair. He comes with his brother Marvin in a separate profile.Marvin (littermates). He's almost 11 months old. Born on 7/24/25. I acquired him and his brother on a visit to see my uncle in NC. He had multiple dogs on his property, one of which had obviously recently given birth. He and his brother were approximately 8 weeks old and were still nursing. I have a large goldendoodle at home and thought it would be crazy to take home a puppy, so I didn't. I thought about them for weeks and ended up returning for another visit and took them both home. I planned to keep Marvin and rehome his brother Percy but when I realized how bonded they were I kept them both. I love them so much . They love my dog and play ALL THE TIME.They are both quite rambunctious and love to play. Percy is the scaredy cat of the group. They are both a bit "barky" but easily corrected. They have some training but def could use more I could write so much more but letters are limited. See videos

Story
Gingerbread is a gentle hound mix who may be a little shy at first—but give her a moment, and you’ll discover the goofiest girl and the very best buddy to other dogs. While she can be unsure around new people, her confidence has been steadily growing, and she’s truly blossoming. She walks beautifully on leash alongside another dog in quieter areas. In busier neighborhoods, she can still get a bit nervous—sometimes pausing or lying down as a motorcycle or bus passes—but she always gets back up and keeps moving forward. Gingerbread has been incredibly brave on her confidence journey and continues to improve every day. With a gentle, encouraging nudge, she shows just how capable she really is—and watching her bloom is something special. Once she feels safe, her personality shines. Gingerbread is silly, affectionate, playful, and deeply loving. She forms strong bonds with her people and, in true hound fashion, is a foodie, an expert snuggler, and occasionally delightfully distractible. She’s looking for an adopter who will cheer her on as she settles into her forever home. Gingerbread would thrive with another dog to help boost her confidence, along with a patient, understanding person committed to supporting her growth. (While another dog is ideal, it’s not required for an adopter with patience and understanding) A quieter neighborhood would suit her best. Gingerbread is fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania, and is ready to find her family. Gingerbread is part of our Meet Me Program! Because Mostly Muttz Rescue doesn’t have a physical shelter, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. You can ask questions, learn about her day-to-day life, and even schedule a one-on-one meet & greet at an approved location—before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information, and Gingerbread’s foster or a volunteer will be in touch. Story
The very best relationships in life are built on trust, patience, love, and the quiet decision to keep showing up for one another. Crumb is looking for that kind of connection — the kind where someone truly understands her and gives her the time she needs to feel safe. Crumb is a deeply sweet and sensitive girl who’s learning that the world can be kind. She’s naturally shy with new people and unfamiliar situations, so trust doesn’t happen overnight for her. But when it does? It’s incredibly special. Beneath that timid exterior is a gentle soul who wants so badly to love and be loved. Other dogs are Crumb’s comfort zone and her greatest joy. She absolutely thrives around them, and having a confident canine companion helps her feel secure enough to let her playful side shine through. With dog friends by her side, Crumb lights up — playing, chewing on her favorite toys, and settling happily into the routines that make her feel safe. Every day, Crumb is growing braver. In her foster home, she’s become comfortable and relaxed, and she continues making beautiful progress with leash walks, especially in calm, quiet areas. She’s the kind of dog who teaches you to appreciate the little victories: a tail wag, choosing to come closer, a moment of confidence where fear used to be. Watching her blossom is something truly rewarding. Crumb is looking for a calm, patient home that understands confidence is built, not forced. Another friendly dog in the home is essential for her — she leans on canine companionship for reassurance and guidance. She would do best in a quieter environment rather than city living, with older, respectful children if any are in the home. A secure fenced yard would help tremendously, and experience with shy or undersocialized dogs would be wonderful, though what matters most is kindness, consistency, and compassion. Crumb may not be the dog who runs up to strangers right away, but for the person willing to earn her trust, the bond you’ll build with her will mean everything. She is the kind of dog who changes you — who reminds you that love isn’t always loud, and that the most meaningful connections are often the ones built slowly, gently, and with intention. And the best part? Crumb is already trying. She wants this. She wants her person. Her foster and our rescue will also happily provide guidance and support after adoption to help her continue thriving in her new home. Crumb is fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania and is ready to find her forever family. www.mostlymuttz.org Link to Crumb’s bio: https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2599114&name=Crumb Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about daily life with the dog, and even schedule an individual meet & greet at an approved location—either before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information, and the dog’s foster or volunteer will be in touch.   #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptable #shybutworthit ##2599114##

Please contact Marilyn at 856-275-6905 for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. June 21, 2026, 11:58 am
