Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. BDRA has voted against the use of eletrical fencing effective immediately.

This is Miller, he was an adoption/rescue. We took him in as a pup with intentions of getting him a new home but fell in love and had to keep him. Unfortunately when he got older the flow with our two other dogs didn’t mesh well. We do not like having to have him separated and gated off. He seems like a dog that needs to be an only pet preferably someone who can show him the love and attention he deserves. He’s a wonderful young guy full of energy and does like cuddles and doesn’t mind if you dress him and loves to play. He does like to chase small animals so a nice yard is preferred and needs that awareness and attention. He’s a very curious guy so he likes to smell every nook and cranny.

Gingerbread is a gentle hound mix who has been learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
