Rocky is a senior hound mix whose world has been turned upside down. Adopted as a puppy, he spent his entire life in a home, only to now find himself looking for a new beginning. While it’s heartbreaking for him, we know there’s a perfect home out there ready to give him the love and stability he deserves. Rocky is a friendly, gentle boy who may be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, his sweet personality really shines. He’s incredibly intelligent, eager to please, and enjoys having toys to keep him occupied. Having lived in a home his whole life, Rocky is house trained and understands what it means to be part of a family. Now she’s safe with us and ready for the life she always deserved. She is just as sweet as she is adorable. Clementine loves people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has an easygoing, gentle nature that makes her such a pleasure to be around. She walks nicely on a leash and is the kind of dog you can take along without any stress. Clementine is the total package—soft, loving, and full of quiet charm (with ears you won’t ever get over). You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Duke is about 9 years old and 50 lbs., found as a stray in rural NC. He is a beautiful leash walker, wonderful in the car, is housetrained and would be a great hiking companion for someone! Duke is very affectionate and happy. He enjoys his family and, although he loves to be outdoors, he also enjoys a soft bed! Duke has very manageable resource guarding in a home environment- so will need an experienced adopter and a child-free home. Which is a shame because he loves children and is very gentle with them. He can go anywhere with you as he is very friendly and fun and is good with cats too! Duke would do best with another dog or dogs in a home with a fenced-in yard. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Oreo is a very sweet boy and has a lot of love and affection to give. He is very friendly and playful. At 4 months old, he is still just a puppy and still needs direction on some things like jumping on people and counters and barking at things, but all those things are trainable. Oreo loves other dogs and would do great in a home with another playful dog as a companion or even older kids/teenagers/active family to do activities with such as walks, hikes, running in the yard. We do not know what Oreo thinks about cats. Oreo's foster says "Oreo is 21 lbs of love and walking on leash and doing his business outside. He doesn’t love to be in the crate alone. He had a great outing to see live music at Angry Erik’s and he got lots of love from the patrons." Oreo is about 4 months old and 21 pounds. Please help Oreo find the loving home he deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals.
