Like many hounds, Maverick is highly food motivated, isn’t afraid to use his voice, and loves following his nose wherever it leads. He’s currently living in a foster home with one of our trainers, where he has learned the structure and skills he needs to succeed. Maverick is fully e-collar trained and will thrive with a family committed to continuing the training methods and routines that help him live his best life. Maverick is looking for a home that can provide consistency, clear boundaries, and a confident leader. He’s an active, intelligent dog who needs both physical exercise and mental enrichment to stay happy, so he’s not looking for a couch-potato lifestyle.
