Story
Scooter is a 4 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound that me and my husband adopted in Florida. He was 4 months old and and rescued with his mother from an orange grove. When we met him, we were told he was a beagle, and with his floppy ears, tricolor coat and puppy face, we didnt know anybetter. 4 years later and he acts 100% coon material. This dog is not a first time dog, nor a dog you just gift someone. He requires someone that does not have a 9-5 job or crazy hours. He struggles greatly with being left alone. He is not crate trained despite our valiant efforts and can be destructive only when left home alone. We are a 1 dog and 1 cat home, I feel he would thrive in a multi dog house. He loves to go on hikes, swimming and meeting new people! He is very well tempered, can be a little stubborn and not listen at times, but he will be your little shadow! We are going to be very picky about who he goes to, but he deserves a better life than we can give him.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Koda, a 3-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound who didn’t have the easiest start, and you can see some of his story in the character of his nose and permanent head tilt. But don’t let that fool you—it doesn’t slow him down or affect his happiness one bit! Koda is resilient, joyful, and more than ready for the happy ending he deserves. ❤️ Koda is truly just a really good boy. He is sweet, affectionate, and loves attention. He enjoys the company of other dogs, but he’s also perfectly content to relax and be wonderfully chill. Whether he’s hanging out with his canine friends or soaking up one-on-one love, Koda is happiest when he’s with his people. And, of course, Koda is a hound—which means he comes with a big, beautiful voice! His bark makes an appearance when he gets excited, and it’s just part of his charming hound personality. He also takes to training easily and is eager to learn, making him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys helping a dog continue to grow and thrive. After all Koda has overcome, he deserves a family who will see what a special boy he is and give him the love, patience, and forever home he’s been waiting for. He has so much love to give, and we know his happily ever after is out there.  Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. Story
Meet Maverick! If you’ve ever wanted a dog with a nose for adventure, Maverick might be your perfect match. This handsome 4-year-old boy is about 50% Treeing Walker Coonhound, and he proudly embraces all the classic hound traits. He loves tracking scents, keeping an eye on the wildlife in the yard, and when he finds something interesting, his excitement is impossible to miss! Like many hounds, Maverick is highly food motivated, isn’t afraid to use his voice, and loves following his nose wherever it leads. He’s currently living in a foster home with one of our trainers, where he has learned the structure and skills he needs to succeed. Maverick is fully e-collar trained and will thrive with a family committed to continuing the training methods and routines that help him live his best life. Maverick is looking for a home that can provide consistency, clear boundaries, and a confident leader. He’s an active, intelligent dog who needs both physical exercise and mental enrichment to stay happy, so he’s not looking for a couch-potato lifestyle. In return, he’ll be a loyal and devoted companion. One of Maverick’s favorite things? Other dogs! He absolutely loves canine companionship and enjoys spending his days running and playing with his foster siblings. Maverick would do best in a quieter home with older children, teenagers, or adults who can continue providing the structure and guidance he needs. If you’re an active person who appreciates the charm, personality, and quirks of a hound, Maverick may be the perfect addition to your family.
