Story
Awwwoooooo! Thats just Lucia saying hello! This sweet, approximately 3-4 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound loves to run and romp, so ideally her forever home will have a big backyard for her to do just that. Saved from a rural shelter, her foster mom describes her as, "Seriously the sweetest, most loving angel!!! " She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and being treated for HW by the rescue. She is crate trained, walks well on leash and loves to play, so she would do well in a home with other dogs. Lucia also excels at giving hugs, so please only apply if you want/need hugs from a sweet hound dog! Please apply for her at apply.neshamarescue.org

Story
Savannah is a happy, sweet, snuggly girl. In addition to being loving, she has come so far from her accident which left her subjected to being run over by a car after she was dumped (likely by a hunter). Her resilience and forgiving spirit makes her a true hero - her bravery and loving nature deserves to be met with a wonderful forever home. **She would do great with a buddy dog and a fenced in backyard, although she is currently being leash walked and is doing great with that too! For a dog who has only been an indoor dog for a couple of months, she sure does lean into the laying about on a couch or dog bed pretty easily :) She is an easy, happy girl. Story
Are you an active person? Like hiking and being outdoors? Then I'm the dog for you. I'm kylo and I was surrendered by my owner because I wouldn't hunt. What can I say? I'm a lover, not a fighter. I'm about 3 1/2 and housetrained and crate trained.  And, if it couldn't get any better I'm good with dogs and cats. It would be great if I had a dog friend too. I would be at my best with older children. Sometimes I forget how big I am. So hurry before you miss out on getting your new best friend. ##1626861##

Story
Molly, treeing walker, approx 10 months, 25 lbs. good w dogs, cats, kids over 10; A fawn-like walker remarkably good with cats, Molly was wandering starved when found and is now in foster fattening up and learning to walk on a leash and working on housetraining. She is typically energetic, great with dogs, gentle with kids but no young kids who can leave a gate open; she is a hound and will take off! Molly absolutely needs a secure fenced. Her foster writes , “Molly loves everyone. Very sweet and wants love and attention all the time. Just wants to be with her human.” Ideal for a walker-lover who appreciates the true sweetness and loyalty of the breed , or playmate for your playful resident dog. Please be aware, Hounds tend to have energy and require daily exercise and mental stimulation. This dog is available and everything we know about this dog is included in the dog's description. We are only able to respond to questions once a completed application is received https://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. We do not respond to questions about our dogs sent through email or social media. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We transport by land or air whenever possible. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.MEET RANDY! Randy is an 8 year old,  21 lb. beagle mix dog.  Randy is a loving and affectionate dog that will make a very loyal companion.   Randy is very friendly with everyone he meets.  He is a very relaxed guy who loves other dogs too.  He is currently living with cats and does fine. Randy is very chill but does like to play with other dogs occasionally.  He needs a buddy and won't do well as an only dog.  He would do great with a family that leaves the house to work or with a family that works from home.  His energy level is low.  He will occasionally play and do zoomies but mostly hangs out and sleeps.  Randy does not require a fenced yard.  Potty breaks on a leash and a nice walk everyday would suffice for his exercise.   He needs to be taken outside on a regular basis for his potty breaks.   Randy is crate trained but he does have some crate anxiety.  An airplane style crate is better than a wire crate for him.  At night he sleeps in his crate with no problem.  Randy is a sweet happy boy who loves to cuddle and hang out.  He loves to eat and loves to go out for a walk.  He is looking for a forever home where he can love his humans and in return be part of a loving home. Randy has a heart murmur which is being treated with a common doggie  prescription.  His foster Mom can explain more about this with any approved applicant.  Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  We prefer that applicants live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We will consider applicants who live a bit further if they are a great fit for this sweet guy.    INTERESTED IN ADOPTING  RANDY?
