Story
We are looking for help in finding a new home for a sweet ~8-10 year old Beagle/Bassett mix, Chelsea. She is my mother in laws dog, and sadly she is in the hospital and will not be returning home. She rescued Chelsea in March of 2021. Chelsea is a chill dog who loves humans and is looking for her next family that wants to snuggle up on the couch! She is house trained and has also been trained to stay in the yard without leash. Chelsea needs to go to a home where she would be the only dog as she currently is afraid of other dogs (even small ones). She would get along best in a quiet home as she sometimes gets startled by loud or unexpected noises. Please let me know what questions we can answer about this sweet girl!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hello My name is Jack! I'm a senior beagle that is looking for a new home. Due to his age, we would prefer him to go to a home with no kids. Jack still has lost of energy for a 11 year old boy. He is dog friendly and loves people. We don't know how he would do with cats as he has never met a cat before. He is housetrained, leash trained, and up to date on all his vaccines. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 16, 2024, 9:22 am

Story
Meet Tinkerbell, your new partner in coffee dates and cuddles! Tinkerbell may be a senior, but her heart is forever young. This basset mix pup brings a delightful blend of calmness and curiosity to every moment. With a snuggly nature that could warm even the coldest of days, Tinkerbell is the ultimate companion for lazy mornings and cozy evenings. She's not just about relaxation, though - Tinkerbell's curiosity keeps her exploring the world with the wonder of a pup half her age. She's got a taste for adventure and would love nothing more than to join you on leisurely coffee dates, making every outing a memorable experience. Her love for people shines through, making her the perfect partner for companionship. Tink is an alpha-lady girl boss, so would do best in a home with a sibling who is very submissive, or as an only dog! Because she can be so bossy, she would also do best in a home without young children. If you're seeking a loyal and loving friend to share cuddles, and countless heartwarming moments, Tinkerbell is the one. Tink has completed her Heartworm procedures in the rescue, and will need to be re-checked in a year. Embrace the joy of having a forever companion who's as sweet as she is curious, and super playful! Adopt Tinkerbell today and let the delightful journey begin!

Story
Meet Romulus and Remus! These 1 year old brothers are silly, hilarious, goofy, snuggly, fun and would be an amazing addition to a family who need cheering up all the time! They love walks (although still working on not zig zagging on leashes) and love running about in a fenced in backyard. These dogs would be pretty great at fetch and activities as well as snuggling on a couch after. Remus is around 19 pounds and Romulus is around 30, since he is longer and has a bigger head. They do well with other dogs and love to play, so if you want a dog to play with your dog, why not get TWO to be play buddies!? They'd also be great hiking buddies as they have endless energy. They sleep in their crates and have never had an accident. They eat in their crates separately and are good eaters. Since they are a bonded pair, their reduced adoption rate is $450 *usually is $300 each for this age. Please apply at apply.neshamarescue.org for the most fun, hilarious babies!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.MEET RANDY! Randy is an 8 year old,  21 lb. beagle mix dog.  Randy is a loving and affectionate, low maintenance dog that will make a very loyal companion.   Randy is very friendly with everyone he meets.  He is a very relaxed guy who loves other dogs too.  He is currently living with cats and does fine. Randy is very chill but does like to play with other dogs occasionally.  He needs a buddy and won't do well as an only dog.  He would do great with a family that leaves the house to work or with a family that works from home.  His energy level is low.  He will occasionally play and do zoomies but mostly hangs out and sleeps.  Randy does not require a fenced yard.  Potty breaks on a leash and a nice walk everyday would suffice for his exercise.   He needs to be taken outside on a regular basis for his potty breaks.   Randy is crate trained but he does have some crate anxiety.  An airplane style crate is better than a wire crate for him.  At night he sleeps in his crate with no problem.  Randy is a sweet happy boy who loves to cuddle and hang out.  He loves to eat and loves to go out for a walk.  He is looking for a forever home where he can love his humans and in return be part of a loving home. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  We prefer that applicants live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We will consider applicants who live a bit further if they are a great fit for this sweet guy. .   INTERESTED IN ADOPTING  RANDY?
