Story
If you love hounds, then Flint is your guy. Flint is a happy guy full of energy. He runs like a Greyhound at the race track and like most hounds follows what ever scent he picks up. This is why we must require a yard with a tall fence. Flint isn't completely housetrained, but is almost there. Flint loves people and communicates well with that expressive howl of his. He came to use with a grade 5 heart murmur. but that was easily corrected to a grade 2 after a few months on Beta Blockers. It may completely correct itself one day or he may have to be on the meds for the rest of his life. Just 2 pills a day and it's not a big deal considering what a great boy he is! You would never know there was ever an issue. Flint is healthy, strong and full of life and love. Flint is fully vetted and is ready to find his loving forever home. But despite how rough his past has been, this boys heart is pure gold.John is estimated to be 57 years old and about 65 lbs, still working on gaining the last 10 pounds he needs. Everyone who meets him falls in love instantly! Easygoing, gentle, and SO affectionate Great with other dogs Not a fan of cats or squirrels (hell happily sing you his hound dog song when one runs by!) Just wants a human to love and be loved byJohn wants nothing more than a home where he can finally relax, enjoy full meals, and soak up all the pets, kisses, and companionship hes been missing. Meet Brewie! This sweet boy is, quite frankly, a lovable doofus — the kind of happy hound who’ll make you laugh every single day. Brewie is a Treeing Walker Coonhound mix who’s great with other dogs and loves all people. He lives in a foster home with other pups and spends his days chasing them around the yard, playing with toys, and showing off his goofy grin. When he’s inside, Brewie proudly takes on the role of floor inspector — always on the lookout for stray crumbs. Have kids? Adopt Brewie and your floors will stay spotless! He’s also a big fan of treats, toys, and adventures. Whether it’s hiking, kayaking, or just going for a car ride, Brewie’s always ready to tag along. Like any good hound, he loves to follow his nose and has a beautiful singing voice he uses to let you know when it’s time to go outside or grab a snack. He may not have the brains of a scholar, but he makes up for it with his sweet, goofy, and endlessly charming personality. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, social, and affectionate companion who’ll make every day brighter, Brewie is your guy! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH.
