If you love hounds, then Flint is your guy. Flint is a happy guy full of energy. He runs like a Greyhound at the race track and like most hounds follows what ever scent he picks up. This is why we must require a yard with a tall fence. Flint isn't completely housetrained, but is almost there. Flint loves people and communicates well with that expressive howl of his. He came to use with a grade 5 heart murmur. but that was easily corrected to a grade 2 after a few months on Beta Blockers. It may completely correct itself one day or he may have to be on the meds for the rest of his life. Just 2 pills a day and it's not a big deal considering what a great boy he is! You would never know there was ever an issue. Flint is healthy, strong and full of life and love. Flint is fully vetted and is ready to find his loving forever home. Gentle and beautiful Miss Lucy was found with three other dogs, apparently dumped, in a rural area along the Ohio/Indiana border. Since the time we humanely trapped her, Lucy has been in foster with a kind family who are showing her what it means to be cherished and safe. She is blossoming from a shy dog to a cuddle bug who loves soft pillows and blankets and wants to to snuggle for hours on the couch with her foster mom. She pretty much wants to be with her foster mom all the time. She is very curious once she gets comfortable and loves other dogs. Having a doggie companion in her new home would be ideal. She is good with cats, too! She’s mastering her potty habits outside, getting used to a leash, and thrives in a fenced yard where she can play freely and safely. She is meticulous in her crate as well. She is not a barker. She squeals with happiness when you arrive home, but she’s never actually barked. Miss Lucy is available for adoption within Ohio and southeastern Indiana.
