Story
It's hard to believe this sweet lover boy was abandoned at a gas station in Oklahoma 4 months ago. When he found us, he was cold and hungry, but somehow still hopeful of a kind human hand. Zac is a handsome youngster whose favorite things include loving you, napping, and chasing squirrels. Our vet thinks he's about 2-years old based on his teeth, and we guessed his breed to be Treeing Tennesse Brindle given his 40 lbs of beautiful head-to-toe brindle. He longs to be next to his humans as much as possible, so when it's time to chill expect him to be right there with you. When it comes to play time, Zac is all wiggles and zoomies; his favorite game is chase me. We made sure to get him all his shots and neutered when we took him into our pack.

Zac has been living these past 4 months with 2 other dogs (French Bulldog & Kai Ken) and an infant. Zac would thrive in a home where he gets to the be center of attention. The only thing we've noticed about this otherwise perfect boy, is that it's best to feed him separately. He is not outright aggressive with food, but if you're not watching him, he will hover and seize any opportunity to get at someone else's food. When it comes to activity, Zac needs daily walks, runs, hikes, and/or trips to the dog park. As you can imagine after being dumped, it took him a few days to adjust to us, but he has fully blossomed into his goofy self. When you come home, be prepared to be met with full body C-shaped body wiggles.

Zac is not crate-trained, but he is housebroken, and we've been confident leaving him for a few hours at a time. He walks well on leash and will probably get even better the more often he can be walked. He is very green when it comes to commands, but we think this is mostly because he just gets so excited by whatever you're about to do together. He does do 'Down' though it's very hard for him to contain his wiggly self. Our hope is that he will find a home that has time and/or resources into getting him additional training so he can be the best good boy.

We would love to keep Zac, and initially this was our plan, but with 2 dogs and an infant, we had to face reality: we just don't have the time for a new addition right now. Zac is as sweet as Texas sweet tea and deserves a home that cherishes him. You won't regret adding this goofy, wiggly bundle of love to your life. He can be the huggable shoulder you need to cry on. He can be that accountability partner you need to meet your walking/running/hiking goals. He will be the unconditional love everyone needs in life.

Story
! Willie is a retired coon dog. He retired over two years ago when he ran off on the job and came to us instead. His owner was located but failed to return calls to claim him, so here he sits, waiting to meet you instead!!! He is pretty chill and quite the love. The lady dogs love Willie! He is kid friendly, but older and/or understanding kids would probably be best because this sweet old man prefers naps over fetch in the yard. He has not been tested with cats, but given his background of chasing small animals, we can say it would probably be best if he had a home with no cats. Willie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and current on prevention.  **Seniors interested in adopting seniors** We know money can be tight so please contact us about special adoption rates. We are also more than happy to throw in a year of heartworm prevention and a bag of food to get you and Willie started! ##954902##
