Story
Molly is ~40-45 lbs and is about a year and a half old. She loves to play which makes sense based on her young age. She does not damage things (furniture, doors, etc.); instead, she likes to play with her toys. She is very loving and always ready to give hugs and kisses. She enjoys being outside and indoors. She has a good appetite (is fed AM and PM). Any visitor has received a warm welcome from Molly. I’ve seen her play tag and fetch outdoors with younger friends who have visited - maybe a younger family may be a better fit for her. She is well trained to go outside to relieve herself and uses a dog door like a pro. She is very smart and will sit in the den when her meals are being created. Her tail has a fun curl to it. Cody's adopts dogs in the greater DFW area and does not adopt puppies under the age of 6 months into apartment homes.   https://bit.ly/codys_adoption_application. ##1791198##

Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. BDRA has voted against the use of eletrical fencing effective immediately.

Napoleon is a nice 12 year old guy with plenty of spunk and even a sparkle in his eyes. Napoleon is a Treeing Walker Coonhound weighing 65 pounds. He likes his people and meeting dogs. He will even play bow and romp a little. He also enjoys a nice nylabone on a bed in the sun. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). I came to the shelter when my owner could no longer care for me, and now I'm ready to find a forever home where I can truly thrive. I'm a devoted, people-focused girl who forms strong bonds with my humans and would love to be the center of someone's world. I'm smart, alert, and sensitive, and I do best in a calm, structured home where I can feel secure and understood. I would be happiest as the only pet and in a home with children 10 years and older. With the right person or family, I will be a deeply loyal companion and a wonderful partner for daily walks, training, and quality time together. I will need to be the only pet in the home. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, boosters to date, and I am heartworm negative.
