Story
Hello, my name is Francis and I'm a 2 year old, neutered domestic medium hair cat that's looking for a quiet and peaceful home where I can be treated like the prince that I am. I'm a friendly guy that takes time to adjust to my new surroundings. I prefer an adult only home or one with older kids since I can be shy sometimes. Once I'm comfortable, I'm very affectionate and will headbutt you for cheek & neck scratches! For more information about me, just ask Customer Service about Francis!  ID# A944426 This cat tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  He/she otherwise appears to be in excellent health.  Cats with FIV can usually live for many years with no medical problems.  Usually at some point however the virus will start to affect them.  The most common thing that happens is that they get sicker than a normal cat would when they get a cold or other condition.  FIV is transmitted almost exclusively via bite wounds. For this reason we recommend that this cat should be an only cat and not be allowed outdoors.  New owner should be prepared to have expenses relating to veterinary care in the future. Please ask to speak with a PHS Veterinarian to learn more about this cat and FIV.Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Please note at this time we are doing adoptions by appointments only. Please call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment. Our hours are weekdays from 11am-6pm and weekends from 11am-5pm (closed major holidays). Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close.  We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.May 3, 2024, 6:50 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Felix and I'm a 4 year old, neutered domestic medium hair wonderful wonderful cat. I am a shy fellow, and I would do best in a quiet home where I can take my time to acclimate. Once I warm up, I enjoy playing and being pet by my human friends! I'd ideally like to go home to folks who have had a shy guy like me before. I will take some time to open up, but we have all the time in the world! For more information about me, just ask Customer Service about Felix! ID# A945243 This cat tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).
