Story
Handsome Milo is the total package.  This gray and white teenage boy looks like a Maine Coon, with a fluffy neck ruff and tail plume. and a chill, easy-going demeanor.   Milo loves attention and affection, but he is not needy or demanding.  When he is not cuddling with you he is always up for a session of chase the ball, toy mouse, or feather toy.   Milo and his slender orange brother Miko couldn't look more different, but they get along so well.  These brothers share a bond, and pretty much everything-- games, food, treats, their beds-- so that we hope they will find a home together. Story
Occasionally when we rescue street cats, we find one that appears to be royalty in disguise.  And such was the case with Princess Dasha.  Dasha's mama cat moved her 3 kittens onto a roof to keep them safe, but she did not have enough milk for her kittens, so they were underweight and very fragile.  Once in custody with plenty of food and care the kittens slowly recovered and each began to show their own distinct personality.  Dasha is calendar-cat beautiful, a rare orange and white female. (Did you know that most orange cats are male?) While she loves to play like a kitten, she can be a bit reserved around new people, as befits royalty.  But once you have earned her trust (which does not take long) she will shower you with purrs, affection, and invitations to play. Dasha loves to nap in your lap or next to you, and is extremely huggable, with a soft almost-medium length coat.  To this Princess, the lap of luxury means YOUR lap. Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Blosom is a 1 year old medium haired tabby that is as sweet as can be. Since being rescued her personality has really been 'blossoming' and her foster home reports she is enjoying all the love and attention she is getting. We think because of her temperament she would do fine with a cat savvy dog and older children. She can be a little picky about what cats she likes but if the introductions are done slow and steady we think she would be fine with another young cat in the home. She would love toys, a soft bed of her own, a cat tree and lots of yummy treats in her new home. If you are looking for a younger kitty that doesn't have that crazy kitten energy, she could be a good match for you. She loves to be with her people and can't wait for her forever home to find her. She would love to meet you. If you think she could be the one, apply to adopt her today! She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.May 4, 2025, 7:03 pm
