Story
Hello, my name is Felix and I'm a 4 year old, neutered domestic medium hair wonderful wonderful cat. I am a shy fellow, and I would do best in a quiet home where I can take my time to acclimate. Once I warm up, I enjoy playing and being pet by my human friends! I'd ideally like to go home to folks who have had a shy guy like me before. I will take some time to open up, but we have all the time in the world! For more information about me, just ask Customer Service about Felix! ID# A945243 This cat tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). He/she otherwise appears to be in excellent health. Cats with FIV can usually live for many years with no medical problems. Usually at some point however the virus will start to affect them. The most common thing that happens is that they get sicker than a normal cat would when they get a cold or other condition. FIV is transmitted almost exclusively via bite wounds. For this reason we recommend that this cat should be an only cat and not be allowed outdoors. New owner should be prepared to have expenses relating to veterinary care in the future. Please ask to speak with a PHS Veterinarian to learn more about this cat and FIV.Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
