Story
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat through our Owner Placement Program. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Miso is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with my current owner in West Sacramento. Adoption fee applies. Meet Miso: A Sweet, Independent Lady with the Most Adorable Raspy Meow! Miso is a charming and affectionate girl who knows exactly what she wants—and that's love on her own terms! This beautiful cat is a true gem: once she warms up to you (and she will, with a little patience), she'll seek you out for cozy lap sessions, head rubs, and gentle pets along her neck, back, and tail. There's nothing quite like the feeling when she chooses to curl up beside you or bump her head against your hand—it's her way of saying you're part of her inner circle. Miso has lived harmoniously with other cats and even a small dog, happily sharing space as long as everyone respects her boundaries. She's confident, low-drama, and perfectly content entertaining herself or lounging in her favorite spots. With her unique raspy little "meow," she'll chat with you in the cutest way when she's in the mood for attention. She's litter box trained (and prefers an open box for easy access), enjoys short brushing sessions, and is on a simple diet of Purina One dry and wet food. While she can be picked up briefly, she's not a big fan of prolonged cuddles or head pats right away—but go slow, and she'll surprise you with how trusting she becomes over time. Miso hasn't been around children, so she'd likely thrive best in a calm adult home (or with gentle older kids) where she can adjust at her own pace. She's the perfect indoor only companion for someone who appreciates an independent yet loving cat who forms deep, rewarding bonds. If you're looking for a sweet, sassy feline friend who will make you earn her affection (and make it all the sweeter when you do), Miso is your girl! Ready to give her the patient, loving forever home she deserves? Miso is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her owner in West Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Miso please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 707-498-6578. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

Story
Lux is one of the sweetest kittens ever! She is bonded with her sister Tux, and the two look and act like identical twins! You might be thinking, “I only want to adopt ONE kitten.” But if you’ve never seen a bonded pair of cats, it’s truly an amazing thing! To watch the love they have for each other is so beautiful, PLUS they won’t be lonely while you’re at work, and will always have someone to play with! They both love to sit and snuggle with their “people,” especially at at night in bed. But if you have things to do, that’s ok because they always have each other! In that way, they’re the perfect balance between being affectionate, but also independent. Both kittens enjoy all toys, especially the interactive type, the kinds they can carry in their mouths, and of course, cat tunnels. Tux & Lux are great around kids, too! They love to play “Kitten Football,” where a child (or adult) throws a cat toy and they race to catch and retrieve it! Tux even won this year’s MVP! (“Most Valuable Paw”)! They love other cats too, and think grooming & napping are group activities. But their favorite thing to do is climb! And although they’re still working on not jumping on the counters and tables, a nice high cat tree and window hammock will really help them master their cat manners. There is one big problem, however— they’re absolutely irresistible!! You won’t be able to say no to them when they look at you with their little “puppy dog” eyes. But if you’re ok with falling head over heels in love and turning into one of those crazy cat people, then these are the cats for you! Be prepared to have 3,000 cat pictures on your phone and for your friends and relatives to think you’ve lost your mind. The thing is, YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!
We'll also keep you updated on Tux's adoption status with email updates.

Story
This little guy had a rough start—a coworker found him in June when he was only a few weeks old. I took him in this past October, hoping he and my senior cat could keep each other company. Unfortunately, his youthful energy has been too much for my 18-year-old cat, and despite my best efforts, keeping them comfortably separated isn’t realistic. He is an absolute sweetheart. He’s playful, affectionate, and loves to cuddle and be petted. He enjoys being around other cats and, once he’s done playing, he’ll happily curl up, cuddle, and even groom them. He’s full of love and has the kindest little personality. He is up to date on all his shots, neutered, microchipped, and ready for his forever home. I’m hoping to find a loving home where his playful spirit and affectionate nature can shine—ideally with someone who has the time, energy, or another playful cat to keep him company. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, and fun companion, this little kitty could be the perfect match!
