Story
Hi! I'm Gigi! I was rescued at Sacramento SPCA after my person died. I’m a beautiful, affectionate, and shy kitty with a playful side. When humans meet me they really want to pet me, and I can’t blame them because my fur is fabulous and my tail is glorious, but I’m cautious and shy in new environments and around humans I don’t know. I prefer to take things slowly while getting to know humans, but once I know I can trust you, my sweet and affectionate purrsonality opens up! I was very nervous when I first arrived in my foster home and although I hid most of the time, I did find a comfy and safe place to call my own... my kitty bed. I made my bed my safe place where I could observe my new surroundings while feeling safe and sound. After a short time, I began welcoming pets from my foster humans and sharing my purrs with them while relaxing in my bed. Now I’m walking around and exploring more and although I’m still not comfy receiving pets while I’m not in my bed, I’m spending more time in the room with my foster humans and feeling more at ease. I do have a playful side and have been entertaining myself by batting, chasing, and rolling around with my toys. I wasn’t interested in playing with my foster humans before but now I’m now beginning to open up to it and it’s proving to be quite fun. There’s a very chill resident kitty here and although I didn’t pay attention to him when I first arrived, I’m showing interest now that I’m feeling more comfortable. When he’s around I’ll come out to say “hi” and flop down in front of him to show my belly and purr. Having a chill kitty furiend in my forever home would be nice but isn't a must. As I mentioned, I’m cautious and shy in new environments so I need a patient family who understands I’ll need time to adjust. If you give me your patience, I purromise I’ll reward you with all of my love! You can see more of me here @sf_fosterfriend. Please note: Gigi is shy and needs a quiet home.Indoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1714316539&src=aap]

Story
Hi! I'm Beau! I was found on a residential street in South SF, likely abandoned. Lucky for me I was spotted and rescued by a feral cat colony feeder and now I'm more than ready to find my forever person! I’m a gorgeous Ragdoll mix with a fluffy coat, a pink nose and baby blue eyes. I’m ever so slightly cross-eyed which makes me look so innocent and adorable. But enough about my looks because I have a truly wonderful personality to match. I’m confident, affectionate, playful and chatty, and I have so much love for my humans. As soon as I met my foster humans, I trusted them and couldn't get enough pets from them. Within 30 minutes of meeting them I even plopped down and rested my head on their knees while they gave me a good brush. Then it was time to explore my foster home. I was a little nervous in my new environment but thankfully my foster humans cuddled me and gave me lots of encouragement. Within one day I was feeling settled in and no longer hiding or nervous. I would say I'm a pretty brave and an adaptable kitty! But more than anything, I crave affection from my humans. My love languages are physical touch and quality time together. Whenever my foster humans come home, I’m so excited that my tail quivers! I run to them, meowing loudly to ask for pets. I often follow them around the house and when they are brushing their teeth or cooking in the kitchen, I just lay by their feet and wait for them to pet me. If they take too long, I’ll rub my head against their legs to remind them I'm ready for attention. When they have to leave and close a door on me, I feel a little sad and let out a few cries to let them know I’ll miss them. Having been abandoned before, I really cherish the chance at a new loving forever relationship! Some of my favorite things to do with my humans include watching Netflix on the couch while cuddling and kneading biscuits, being brushed, being picked up and held, eating some yummy food while being pet, and playing together. Oh yes, I can't forget to mention that I have a very playful and fun side too. I love to explore new toys and am super agile and athletic when you wave a wand toy for me. I’m young and I have plenty of young energy! So what do you say? Am I not the whole package? I would love to call you my forever human! You can see more of me in foster @dj_capy_ on Instagram.
