Story
When we adopted Fey in Jan. 2025, Tacoma Humane said she was probably 5 yo. After 3 months of Fey living with us and getting comfortable with our routine, we realized she was probably just 6 months when we took her in. We're estimating her DOB approx. June 2024. In Sept. 2025 we moved from our home with a dog door accessing a fenced yard to our boat. Fey did great in the home. She is not doing so great on the boat. Living on the boat, she has limited access to the outdoors and most of the time is on a leash. If we leave any door open, she gets off the boat and explores the docks. It's like she's claustrophobic and goes crazy, especially if we leave the boat without her. She can be mischievous escape artist. Fey is a loving and affectionate sweetheart. She'll curl up and snuggle beside you or between your legs if you have a recliner. She gives sweet kisses. If she can run off leash and burn off energy, she'll sleep for 2-4 hours afterwards.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Amy! Amy had a rough start in life—she was born on November 30, 2024, on the streets of San Antonio, alongside her eight siblings. Her feral mother had been surviving on her own for quite some time, raising multiple litters on the streets. Thankfully, with the help of Amy and her siblings, we were able to gain her mother’s trust and bring them all to safety. Now, Amy is thriving! She is a playful, sweet, and loving puppy who adores people. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a few minutes, and she’ll be bouncing around, ready to play! As of February 26, 2025, she weighs 11.6 pounds, but she’s expected to grow to around 45 pounds. Amy is ready to find her forever home! Her adoption fee is $300, and she is available through A Doggie 4 You. If you're interested in adopting this special girl, apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. Could Amy be the missing piece of your family? This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 21, 2025, 6:03 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Athena! Athena's journey hasn't been easy. She came to us as a protective and standoffish mama dog, fiercely guarding her 9 puppies after living a life on the streets and having litter after litter. It took a lot of time and patience to gain her trust, but now that she's found it again, Athena is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl. She may take time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she will love you forever. Athena has a calm demeanor and would thrive in a home where her new family can give her the time and patience she needs to feel safe and comfortable. As a Vizsla mix born around February 26, 2019, she’s fully grown and ready to be a loving companion. Athena is spayed, up to date on prevention, and fully vaccinated. She’s now ready to find her forever home where she can continue to blossom and show her true loving nature. Her adoption fee is $300, and she is available through A Doggie 4 You. If you're interested in giving Athena the loving home she deserves, apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. Could Athena be the missing piece of your family? Story
Pip is a beautiful, loving and fun-loving dog. She has tons of energy to play, and she always wants to be close to her humans. I've had Pip since she was only 6 weeks old. Sadly, I am looking for a new family for her now due to a change in my work, and need for me to travel more. Pip has been my dream dog: amazingly intelligent, eager to work, eager to please, always happy to play and very loving to people and kids. She's great at fetch and frisbee. She is bicycle trained, and she loves to run. An ideal new home for Pip is a family where there are multiple people who can interact with her, because she does thrive on being near humans and having regular interactions with people. Pip enjoys snuggling with her humans, but she's not the kind of dog to sleep all day - she definitely wants to play, to fetch, to tug, and to walk and explore with her humans. In terms of breed, she *looks* very much like a chocolate lab but acts like a Pointer (GSP), including the classic 'point' gesture.

Story
Welcome Oaks to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Oaks is a 1.5 year old German Short haired pointer and German Shepherd. He is about 48 pounds and a good weight. He is good in a car, potty trained, doggy door trained and lives with six children starting at age 2. He also lives with 6 other dogs and does fine. He would be great with a family and children would be fine. We like them to be 8 or older. He is smart, laid back, good with other dogs and bonds deeply to his family. He is a little timid with strangers but comfortable with his people. His foster family is going to start taking him places so he can get used to changes in environment and other people. He is smart but he doesn’t like to retrieve like his sister does. He is a nice dog and naturally a little protective to his family. He would be great with a family that the dad travels and he wants to feel that his family is safe and taken care of. He is a moderate shedding dog and with his long legs would be a great walking or jogging companion. He is neutered, healthy and getting his vaccinations and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Hi, I’m Rocco,I’m so happy you’re checking out my page, I can’t wait to find my forever home and share all my unconditional love. I live with both dogs and cats and get along great with everyone. I’m house-trained, walk nicely on a leash, and love to play. Even though I’m a senior, I still have plenty of energy and I also knowing how to be calm and relaxed. Running is my favorite activity, so if you’re a jogger or active walker, we’ll be a perfect match. Just one not; I think tennis shoes are toys. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.
