Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
Hi I’m Tommy, As you can see, I am just a puppy, who is a little shy for strangers. You will need some patience with me when I first meet you because I may want to run away. I was rescued with my 3 sisters, and I love to play with them all day long. Between the 3 of us we are pretty mischievous when left on our own, there isn’t a garbage can or a clothesline that hasn’t been disturbed at my foster home. Like a toddler I am learning a lot about how to be a good dog. But I will need a lot more training before then. Some of that training will need to be how to walk on leash, potty outside, and basic commands.A good home for me would be one that has another dog that I can learn from and be best friends with. A home where my people can spend time teaching me things I need to know and where we could go for long walks. I am good with kids and cats so if you have them, we will get along. If you are looking for a puppy to love, then I am ready! Just fill in the application and we can meet over Zoom.Lots of love to give,Tommy To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Hi, there my name is Nikyta,They call me Niky for short. I am a young pup who is very calm for my age. I still like to chew things but if you give me a good chew toy that works for me. I am still growing so I will likely end up being a medium size dog around 45 lbs or so. I am pretty active and love my walks and playing frisbee on the beach. I am still learning so many new things and would love a family of my own who would take the time to teach me the right way to do things. I am pretty good walking on a leash but of course, I prefer to be off leash to be free to run. I can be a bit shy with other dogs that I don't know but once I get to know them we can play, play, play!If you are looking to have a great dog who will love you loyally forever, then we could be a great match. Just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Your Niky To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Meet Lorelei!   Lorelei is a 4-5 year old girl who is sweet and cheerful. She is an active girl who would love to go hiking with you. She is a wonderful companion in the home. She will do best as the only dog in the home, as she does not love to share her space inside with a dog friend. She can play with other dogs outside of the home though.    Lorelei would love a home with a yard where she can play and sniff around. She loves toys. She is such a good girl!   She is spayed, vaccinated, and chipped. Her adoption fee is $395.  We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Animal Profile: Daniella is an estimated 10-month-old 45 lb spayed female Pointer mix. She was confiscated from a homeless encampment in southern California and taken into a boarding facility sponsored by a vet clinic, along with several other dogs. There she was assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. More info to come as we get to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: Daniella is a a gal with brains and beauty! She is super smart and treat motivated and has so much potential. She's doing great with the resident dogs and plays really well with them. She loves curling up in any humans lap and napping on them. She would love another dog in her forever home. She does well with verbal corrections (like when she tries to steal shoe-- such a puppy!) and she is quickly picking up on sit and lay down. She is doing fine with potty training and is not especially vocal.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued in southern California as a stray. She will be arriving to Seattle area on Nov 9 via START rescue transport and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.December 1, 2023, 10:53 pm

Story
Animal Profile: Petal is an estimated 16-month-old, 32 lb female Pointer mix. Her previous shelter described her as friendly and energetic with a tail that never stops wagging. Her play style is very exuberant, so she's best paired with other large, fast dogs. Because she's likely to knock them over, she needs a household without small children. An active family who can go, go, go and continue her training would be perfect. Foster Update: Petal is settling in well and is a happy-go-lucky girl! She loves everyone she meets and is a social butterfly. She does well with the resident dog and cat! Petal is fairly energetic, but she does love to snuggle and relax. She is athletic with a medium energy level and would do well with an active family. Petal is good in her crate and can be left alone for a few hours without complaint, she is not particularly vocal. She has good leash manners on a prong with good leadership. She enjoys going for drives and looking out the window. She would love a home with another dog companion with whom she could run about in the yard. She knows how to sit and we are working on recall. Petal has gorgeous coloring and eyes and a personality to match. She is sooo sweet and sociable and would make a great addition to almost any household! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, deworming, microchip and registration, and vet exam.  Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Animal History: Petal was found as a stray and rescued from the Country of Hawaii Animal Control & Protection Agency.  She arrives in Seattle on Oct. 24, 2023.December 1, 2023, 10:53 pm

Story
My name is Narin, and I'm a 1-year and 5-month-old English Black Pointer girl. I have a real soft spot for humans – once I get to know you, I'll be showing off my adorable belly and showering you with all the love and cuddles you could ever dream of. I thrive on affection and sometimes, I can get a little jealous when I see others getting attention. I get along well with other dogs. Although, I must confess, when it comes to food, I can be a bit protective. If you leave a tasty treat lying around, you might hear a little growl from me as I make sure it's safe. But don't worry, I'm working on my table manners. Right now, I'm staying in a foster home, and I've been on my best behavior around the other pups here. My foster parents say I'm a quick learner and always eager to please. Being a Pointer, I've got some quirks that come with the territory. I might let out a howl from time to time, and I've got some impressive speed when I'm on the move. That's why I think I'd thrive in a home with active, young individuals who are ready for adventures. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzEcFIh0FJBMOlIJRUtlXdm

Story
When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! ADOPT...........DON'T SHOP!!! My LIFE depends on it!!! LOcal adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi I am Bonga, I know, I am as cute as can be. I am a pretty shy girl when I first meet people or other dogs, but I warm up quickly and love to play and have fun. I am not what you would describe as a leader, but I like to follow.Toys are fun, balls are my favorite unless of course, you have a stuffie, then I love to tear them apart and see what’s in them. I know I am a 2-year-old, but I am still a puppy at heart. My foster family has a baby, and she is so cute, I know that I have to be gentle with her, so I keep my distance and wag my tail to be friends.I don’t know anything about cats, they may be friends but maybe not.Car rides are fun, I love to see the road fly by, and I will bark at motorcycles and bikes when I see them. I usually stay in my seat, and I don’t get dizzy or sick in the car. I haven’t been to the beach yet, but I think that might be fun. Maybe you and I could do that together?I have lots of things to learn about being a great dog and I need someone who has the patience to teach me. Could that someone be you?If you think so, then fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Bonga To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Roo is looking for a foster to adopt home! Despite having some special medical needs, Roo has overcome challenges with resilience and is now seeking the perfect home to share her boundless joy. Roo is a beacon of happiness, always radiating joy and enthusiasm. Her exuberance for life is evident in her wiggly and energetic nature, often hopping around like a playful goat when she is excited. Roo's absolute favorite thing is playing with her beloved ball. Witnessing her enthusiasm is a true delight, and when her beloved ball rolls under furniture, she will let you know as she grumbles determinedly to retrieve it. Adorable!  This spirited pup loves meeting new people and is sure to bring a smile to your face with her silly antics. She also LOVES her dog friends!  Let’s just say that she loves LIFE!  She loves car rides and, when she is ready to relax, she transforms into a cuddle bug!  Roo, our resilient little nugget, faces some unique medical challenges that are believed to stem from a combination of mechanical and neurological issues.  According to her neurologist, Roo has evidence of a skull malformation, likely from birth, causing her to be unable to open or close her jaw completely. She also has bilateral trigeminal neuropathy (big words for such a small babe!) which contributes to the lack of range of motion in her jaw as well as affecting sensation in her face and her eyes.  Due to the lack of sensation in her eyes, she requires daily eye drops and will need one of her eyes removed when she is a bit older.  Roo also needs softened food since she can’t chew properly.  While Roo is still in the learning phase, she's making great strides in basic training and manners. She's working on house training and does great in her crate. Her playfulness can sometimes translate into being a bit mouthy, so she's best suited for a home with older kids. Because Roo is not medically cleared yet, we are looking to place her in a foster to adopt home so we can continue providing her care until she has surgery in mid-2024. We will provide all vet care for Roo until she is adopted. A foster-to-adopt home should be in the greater Seattle area or the Tri Cities area. Roo was born in May of 2023, so is still a pup, is a German Shorthaired Pointer, and currently weighs in at about 20 pounds. If interested in adding this super special girl to your family, please fill out an application at https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application See more photos of Roo on her Facebook album! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.687391840097173&type=3 ##1777829##
