Hi, there my name is Nikyta,They call me Niky for short. I am a young pup who is very calm for my age. I still like to chew things but if you give me a good chew toy that works for me. I am still growing so I will likely end up being a medium size dog around 45 lbs./23 kgs or so. I am pretty active and love my walks and playing frisbee on the beach. I am still learning so many new things and would love a family of my own who would take the time to teach me the right way to do things. I am pretty good walking on a leash but of course, I prefer to be off leash to be free to run. I can be a bit shy with other dogs that I don't know but once I get to know them we can play, play, play!If you are looking to have a great dog who will love you loyally forever, then we could be a great match. Just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Your Niky. To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Hi, I’m Tommy, I am a confident young pup who loves to play with other dogs. We run and play most of the day. I have an old mop that I play with and chew on the cloth strips. Otherwise, I haven’t learned to play with toys, maybe that is something you could teach me. I love the cats I live with too but sometimes they tell me to leave them alone, so I understand that they need their space. I don’t live with children and haven’t spent any time with them. They might scare me, or I might love to play with them too. Car rides are fun, but I know that I need to stay calm and sit down. I haven’t been to the beach yet, but I do like water. Sometimes you can find me splashing around in my water bowl!I spend a lot of time outside with my dog pals, but when I do go into the house I always go to the door when I need to do my business. I don’t like to be left alone very much. I remember one time my mom left me in the bathroom alone and I managed to get into a little mischief with the toilet paper.I am so happy to see her when she gets home from work because we can have a cuddle time on the bed.I like to go for walks, and I behave well if it is just me and my mom. If I am with another dog I will pull to be first. I know my basic commands, but I am more willing to show you if there is a treat involved. If it sounds like we would get along then, just fill in the application and we can meet over Zoom.Lots of love to give,Tommy To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. My favorite thing is to run, so if you are a runner or a jogger we would get along great. Story
Meet Lorelei!   Lorelei is a 4-5 year old girl who is sweet and cheerful. She is an active girl who is a wonderful companion in the home. She will greet you with love and admiration when you come home, and will lay by your feet when you want to curl up on the couch.  She will do best as the only dog in the home, as she does not love to share her space inside with a dog friend. She likes to soak up all the love from her people though!   She is about 70 lbs of love. Lorelei needs more work on leash walking and her foster family and our trainer are diligently working on this.    Lorelei would love a home with a fenced yard where she can play and sniff around. She loves toys. She is such a good girl!   She is spayed, vaccinated, and chipped. Her adoption fee is $395.  We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Name: Emma Age: 3 years old Gender: Female Neutralization: Completed Breed: Pointer Mix Color: Black and White Spotty Weight: 46 LB (21kg) Hello!! My human friends!! I am Emma, an energetic Pointer mix aged 3. I am a lovely girl with warm heart and brightness. However, people did not know me, and I was on the list of euthanasia at the city shelter. Fortunately, a kind rescuer saved me, and here I am. Now, I am sooooo ready to meet my lovy dovy happy family. I am very bright girl with full of charming energy. I love people’s attention and being petted. On the spot of meeting new people, my tail does not stop wagging and my ears get flat with happiness. My handler said that it was so difficult to take a picture of me with proper ear shape because they got flat all the time when I was with people. I really enjoy being companion with people and I assertively approach to them to be petted. If you rub my belly, I will melt down immediately for more petting. I am very good with new doggie friends. I usually say hi gently to them and then, just mind my own business. I can share treats with them and smell out each other to get to know. Though I am more interested in people and exploring new environments. Outdoor activities and exercising are my favorite things. As I am a Pointer, I need to consume my energy properly. Otherwise, I may get stressed out. I also need to take my potty break outside, so regular strolling is essential for me. I may get excited when I go for walk and pull on leash a bit but this should be settle down soon with some training, for sure. If you need a companion who can enjoy a lot of energetic activities together, I am here for you. :D If you see me, you will instantly realize how adorable I am. I have bright energy and easy-going personality. Let me spread my happy virus to you. We can have lots of fun adventures together!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9llIlTwDg6Q&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzewDjO_YZjw6S8DZTZAgbu ❤ we accept both Canada/US applicants ❤

Name: Hwee-In Age: 2 years old Gender: Female Neutralization: Completed Breed: Pointer mix Color: Beige and white spotty Weight: 48lb (22kg) My name is Hwee-In, and I'm a vibrant 2-year-old pointer mix girl with a heart as big as my smile. My journey began in a mysterious way—I was abandoned on a farm with my mum, but luck smiled upon us when a kind chairman rescued us. Now, I'm on the lookout for my forever home, and I think that home might just be yours! ✨ About Me: I'm not just your average dog; I'm a bundle of joy with a wagging tail that's always ready to welcome you home. Shyness? That's not in my vocabulary. The moment you reach out to pet me, I'm on my back, ready for those delightful belly rubs. Just a heads up, though—I'm not lightweight, but that just means there's more of me to love! Social Butterfly: My sunny personality extends to my fellow furry friends. Despite my hearty appetite, I'm no food guarder. Sharing is caring, and I'm a reliable companion who values friendship over a full bowl. Active Lifestyle: If you're into outdoor adventures and staying active, we're a perfect match! I have the energy of a thousand suns and need to burn it off with some outdoor playtime. Leash walking and car rides might be a bit tricky for me now, but with a little training and patience, I'll catch up! Ready for Love: I'm not just saying this - check out my video on YouTube! I'm an absolute sweetheart who's just waiting for the right person to share all my love and joy with. I'm ready to be your loyal companion, your confidante, and your source of endless happiness. What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me: · I am the best of both worlds! I love cuddling up in a chair next to my person or zooming around the yard in full play mode.· I love getting out into nature where its quiet and I can be alone with my own thoughts.· I prefer not to live with the feline kind. Or maybe they prefer not to live with me!· I have been working on self-improvement where my manners are concerned.· I still have some puppy energy! I could use some ongoing training to help me grow into the best dog I can be.Did you know that Seattle Humane has Puppy and Dog training classes? Learn more on our website!

Jj is a year and a half old. I cant keep him anymore as my girlfriend and I are having a kid and I can not give him as much attention as he needs. He is super friendly and loves to play. He is high energy like all German shorthairs and needs daily walks. He is just not up to date on his most current shots which were due recently. I have his medical history. Willing to go down on price, just put it higher so that people who consider him seriously want him and will take good care of him.

Story
Roo is looking for her forever home! Roo is a beacon of happiness, always radiating joy and enthusiasm. Her exuberance for life is evident in her wiggly and energetic nature, often hopping around like a playful goat when she is excited! Despite having some special medical needs, Roo has overcome challenges with resilience and is now seeking the perfect home to share her boundless joy. This spirited pup loves meeting new people and is sure to bring a smile to your face with her silly antics. Her absolute favorite thing is playing with her beloved ball and witnessing her enthusiasm is a true delight! Her foster family can't get enough of the amusing noises she makes – from adorable snarfles to entertaining grumbles, Roo never fails to express her thoughts and feelings! Roo is wonderful in the car and is always excited to be your copilot! After she’s gotten her energy out, she transforms into a cuddle bug. When it’s time to relax, she’ll snuggle up and tuck her little head in the crook of your arm, accompanied by the most precious snores!  Roo has faced some unique medical challenges that are believed to stem from a combination of mechanical and neurological issues. According to her neurologist, Roo has evidence of a skull malformation, likely from birth, causing her to be unable to open or close her jaw completely. She also has bilateral trigeminal neuropathy (big words for such a small babe!) which contributes to the lack of range of motion in her jaw as well as affecting sensation in her face and her eyes.  Due to the lack of sensation in her eyes, she had one of her eyes removed that had been damaged before she came to us, and requires daily eye drops in the other to keep it healthy. Roo also needs softened food since she can’t chew properly.  Roo has been doing well with basic manners and training. With her medical conditions, we implemented creative strategies to help determine the most effective way to support her learning, and she is doing fantastic!  Roo was born in May of 2023, is a German Shorthaired Pointer, and weighs 30 pounds. If interested in adding this super special girl to your family, please fill out an application at https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application. Her adoption fee is $550 and she is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old. See more photos of Roo on her Facebook album! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.687391840097173&type=3 ##1777829##
