Meet Felipe Sweet, Loving, and Ready to Find His Forever Family Breed: Weimaraner Mix Gender: Male | DOB: May 23, 2025 | Weight/Size: 60 lbs (Large) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Kids ✔️ | Cats: Unknown Personality: ❤️ Sweet | Loving | Friendly | Affectionate Medical: ✔️ Healthy | ✔️ Neutered | ✔️ Vaccinations Up to Date | ✔️ Microchipped | ✔️ Adoption-Ready Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue coordinates safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality & Breed Information Felipe is a handsome Weimaraner weighing approximately 60 pounds. He's a sweet, loving young dog who is ready to find a family that will give him the companionship, activity, and affection he deserves. Felipe is good with other dogs and children, while his compatibility with cats is currently unknown. Weimaraners are known for forming strong bonds with their people. They are often intelligent, affectionate, athletic, energetic, and eager to participate in whatever their family is doing. They tend to thrive when they're treated as true members of the household and given plenty of opportunities for both physical and mental activity. Felipe is still a young dog, so his future family should be prepared to provide daily exercise, enrichment, continued training, and plenty of companionship. A bored young Weimaraner can find his own ways to stay entertained, so an engaged and active home will help him thrive. Felipe would benefit from: Daily walks and regular physical activity Playtime and outdoor adventures Mental stimulation and interactive toys Positive-reinforcement training Consistent routines and boundaries Continued socialization Plenty of time with his people A secure home and yard, if applicable A lifelong commitment Training, Adjustment & What to Expect At just over a year old, Felipe is still a young dog with plenty of learning and maturing ahead of him. Rescue dogs may arrive with basic training at best, so adopters should be prepared to continue working on leash manners, basic commands, recall, household boundaries, calm greetings, and positive socialization. Weimaraners are intelligent dogs, and training can provide valuable mental stimulation in addition to teaching good manners. Consistent positive-reinforcement training will help Felipe build confidence and develop a strong relationship with his new family. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to understand his new household routine 3 Months to fully settle in, build trust, and feel at home Even a sweet and social dog needs time to adjust to a completely new environment. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Felipe is healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. He is ready for adoption. His future family should continue providing routine veterinary wellness exams, recommended vaccine boosters, flea/tick/heartworm and parasite prevention, dental care, quality nutrition, healthy weight management, regular grooming and nail care, appropriate daily exercise, and veterinary treatment whenever needed. As an athletic breed, maintaining Felipe at a healthy weight and providing consistent, appropriate exercise will be important throughout his life. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Felipe, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Ozzie and Friends Rescue is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs in need and helping them find safe, loving forever homes. While based in Southern California, we coordinate safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Adopting Felipe means committing to his health, training, exercise, safety, companionship, and happiness throughout his life. Felipe is healthy, young, sweet, and ready to begin the best chapter of his life. At 60 pounds, there's plenty of Felipe to love—and he's looking for a family who will give all that love right back. Whether it's heading out for an adventure or simply being close to his favorite people, Felipe is ready to find where he belongs. October 5, 2026, 4:17 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Tillie! What am I, you ask? My face says Weimaraner, my ears say Dobby the elf, and the rest of my body says ‘muscles and silliness.’ My foster family calls me Squirmy Wormy, because of how much I crawl and wiggle across the floor when I’m playing or reaching for a toy. They think I’m pretty special, and I have to agree—I’m loving life here in Colorado! So far, my favorite thing about Colorado is my foster brother. He’s bigger than me, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to run and wrestle with him every minute of every day! I zoom, jump, and spin around so fast, my ears start to look like wings! My silly, dramatic dinosaur noises add a special Tillie flair to it all.I’m now fully potty trained, and I know how to use a dog door to let myself outside. Even when the dog door is closed, I’m learning how to let the humans know when I need to go out. At night, I go right into my crate for bedtime. I’m also good in my crate during the day if I need to stay home alone. I’ll be sad that you’re leaving, but after a few minutes, I settle down with my kong treat and take a nap.Like any puppy my age, I’m very curious about all the cool things around me. I know I’m not supposed to steal clothes and pillows… but sometimes I just can’t help it! Luckily, I know what “leave it” means, so I’ll drop my forbidden treasure pretty quickly. I also have pretty good recall, so I’ll come away from some place I shouldn’t be exploring. I’m so smart that I taught myself how to open lever-style doorknobs! But I’m also learning that doors mean a boundary, and that I’m not supposed to open them, even when I know how to.I’m still a little shy when I meet new people, but the good news is that you win me over with treats. When we meet, I might not want pets or snuggles right away, but that’s just because who has time for that when there’s so much sniffing and playing to do?! At the end of the day, when I’m finally tired from all the playing, exploring, and following you around, that’s when I turn into a total cuddle bug. I love to lay my head on you or share your pillow when I fall asleep on the couch.I’m looking for an active person who will keep me busy, let me play with canine friends, and, most importantly, let me be your loyal little shadow.Could you be my person? I sure hope so!    ##2788609##

Story
Peanut here, a six-year-old part Weimaraner, most parts love bug. My great ancestors hail from Germany– just like my fellow rescues, the Boxers! So glad they took me in. Peanut’s my name, cause I guess I kind of resemble one? Not the hard-shelled kind, of course–too much of a snuggler for that. I’m more of a boiled peanut type, soft, fun, ready to curl up beside you.  They tell me I'm a smartypants (but not a smart aleck!)  If this Peanut were on a grocery shelf, I’d be next to jam and honey—we have lots in common! I’m sweet, comforting, and love to sandwich my people. You, me, and the couch make three. I guess I’m a looker, too!  Been known to make the hearts of fellow rescue pups skip a beat. You didn’t hear it from me, but my not-so-secret admirer could barely contain himself when I sauntered past his kennel. Something about my eyes matching my coat matching my wise yet sassy self….can’t blame the fella.  Says my faithful volunteer, “Peanut’s a cuddle bug looking for a permanent rug. Peanut will see into your soul! Very into her peeps.” Oh wow, such a nice reference. It’s true. I want to know your thoughts, your dreams, and when we can lie in the grass and stare at clouds. So thankful to my foster family, and so ready to find my one and only. So glad to see you seeing about me.  Ready when you are!   Your smooth, buttery Peanut   PS Notes from Peanut’s sleepover: great overnight house guest, sleeps through the night, house trained, cuddle bug, loves toys, knows tons of obedience cues, jumps up when meeting new people (tho easily redirected), good in the car, likely best with a 6' fence (she's tall). ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN**********If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. Please do not email and ask for more information on how to adopt, all the information is already available online. The information you see here is all that is currently available about this dog. No boxers are adopted without a completed application and home check. Thank you! ##1834542##

Story
Snoopy is a giant goofball baby! He is a submissive funny guy who loves to play. Hes done well around a cat and kids, although he still needs to learn about less jumping! As a stray from Oklahoma he is still learning how to be house trained but he’s been receptive to it! Snoopy is a great dog who will do great with other dogs and cats. His long legs mean lots of energy and he’s even a little talkative as well! He would make an excellent hiking companion but also enjoys a good bone in his crate. Please text (303) 253-0807 for any inquiries!
