Story
To meet Gunner, please submit an application at www.thehausofdogs.com/adopt . Meet Gunner, a soulful rescue dog whose journey has led him to seek solace and companionship in the midst of adversity. Surrendered by animal control alongside his loyal companion Mocha, Gunner's world was turned upside down when a welfare check revealed the passing of his beloved owner. Suddenly finding himself in the confines of an overcrowded shelter in San Antonio, TX, Gunner's gentle nature and yearning for love shine through, despite the uncertainty that surrounds him. Gunner's disposition speaks volumes about his character - submissive, shy, and gentle, he embodies resilience in the face of life's challenges. Having lost his anchor and protector, Gunner now seeks a safe haven where he can flourish and thrive once again. His heart is filled with an unspoken desire for a loving home, where he can find comfort, security, and the unwavering affection he so desperately craves. Gunner eagerly awaits the opportunity to share his love and companionship with a kind-hearted soul. He is available for adoption on his own, or with Mocha. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a deserving companion, consider giving Gunner the chance to experience the love and security he so rightfully deserves. Story
Adorable Abby - a loving 7 year-old Weimaraner with a soulful past and eyes that tell tales. Born into a life of breeding in Mexico, Abby's initial years weren't filled with the love and warmth that every dog deserves. Abby's striking appearance, with those profound, beautiful eyes, stands in contrast to the cruelty she once endured. Now healthy, spayed, vaccinated and at a comfortable 68 lbs, Abby has began a new chapter - one of second chances, and hope. Now, amidst her canine siblings and doting foster, Abby is steadily learning what it means to be cherished. But with memories of her past still echoing, Abby would thrive best in an adult-only home where the rhythms of life are gentle, and full of love and understanding. Abby's simple joys? Feeling the warmth of a hug, being spoiled with love, and of course, her bedtime ritual. As night falls, Abby finds comfort wrapped under her blanket, feeling secure and loved. Abby has gained so much confidence, is excellent on a leash and loves her daily walks through the countryside or nearby park in the evening. If you are looking for a steady four legged partner in life - filled with whispered conversations, cozy cuddles, and soulful gazes, consider opening your heart and home to Abby. She awaits a forever home, where the echoes of her past are replaced with love and warmth. To apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PCRR/Dog #AbbysNewBeginnings #HopeInHerEyes #SecondChancesMatter Pacific Rim Rescue will transport Abby anywhere in the United States via one of our board members - to the right adoptive home. Though, if there is a wonderful, kind and compassionate adopter or foster in Vancouver/British Columbia or Alberta, Canada or Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, California or Nevada - even better!

Say hello to Bella, a charismatic and gorgeous Weimaraner who's just shy of two years old and looking for a forever home. This dear girl is a social butterfly who thrives in the company of people and gets along well with other dogs. She adores playing in the yard or taking adventure walks and is great in the car. She is also a certified cuddle connoisseur, and there's nothing she enjoys more than snuggling up on the couch, soaking in love and affection and giving it all back in return. Bella is looking for a home where her people would be home more often than not, and where there is a fenced yard so she has room for zoomies. No small kids, please ... and while Bella is good with dogs, she prefers pooch friends her size rather than littles. Please note that we generally have a minimum adoption age of 25 years old. The first step in our process is to fill out our application at www.havenrescue.org/dogapplication ( you may need to copy and paste this URL)Questions? Email us at info@havenrescue.org

Story
The second I met Chantal Pal I knew there was something special about her. Her love for people is out of this world! The word "stranger" does not exist in her vocabulary, she loves everyone she meets, no matter the size. Even if it's a leaf, she loves it. Chantal is a total love bug so much so that she met a 3 year old for the very first time and completely fell in love with him. She wasn't jumping on him nor was she mouthy and was very gentle taking treats from him. She will make someone a great family dog. See her personality here: Chantal Pal is believed to be a Weimaraner pittie mix approximately 4 years old and currently weighs 60 lbs and full of love and kisses to give. She is a rescue dog and with rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Chantal is dog friendly and did great with all of the dogs we introduced her to. She loves to play wrestle, chase, and is just an all around happy girl. She met multiple dogs ranging in sizes and also with varying personalities and her favorite friend that she made was a young 1 year play pup that she just met and they hit it off! She loved playing with her and one of the funniest things she kept doing was grabbing her leash like she was going to take her for a walk herself. It was adorable! She also isn't play all the time. She knows when to take breaks and will play for short periods at a time. Chantal would do best in home with another dog that is moderately playful, will take breaks on their own, is aloof and carefree just like her. She is medium energy and will get the zoomies from time to time, her zoomies are quite funny to watch too. Outside in the yards you'll mostly find her wondering around exploring her surroundings, taking in the fresh air, getting in a mini play session with doggy friends or she's by her people getting all of the affection. Chantal is also the type of dog that can be adopted out as an only dog as well. She does not need the company of other dogs to feel comfortable or open up with people. She instantly falls in love and melts into you. Chantal would do great in a home with a backyard or even in an apartment/condo style home as long as . She is crate trained, potty trained, walks easy on a leash and is just all around perfect. Please email : Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
