Story
Animal Profile: Petal is an estimated 16-month-old, 32 lb female Pointer mix. Her previous shelter described her as friendly and energetic with a tail that never stops wagging. Foster Update: Petal is settling in well. She is a happy-go-lucky girl, loves everyone she meets and is a social butterfly. She also does well with the resident dog and cat. Petal is fairly energetic, but she also loves to snuggle and relax. She is athletic with a medium energy level and would do well with an active family. Petal is good in her crate and can be left alone for a few hours without complaint; she is not particularly vocal. She has good leash manners on a prong collar with good leadership. She enjoys going for drives and looking out the window. She would love a home with another dog companion whom she could run in the yard with. She plays well with smaller dogs, matching energy levels, and has met kids and done well. She knows how to sit and we are working on recall. Petal has gorgeous coloring and eyes and a personality to match. She is sooo sweet and sociable and would make a great addition to almost any household! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, deworming, microchip and registration, and vet exam.  Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Animal History: Petal was found as a stray and rescued from the Country of Hawaii Animal Control & Protection Agency.  She arrived in Seattle on 10/24.December 8, 2023, 2:52 pm

Story
Animal Profile: Daniella is an estimated 10-month-old 45 lb spayed female Pointer mix. She was confiscated from a homeless encampment in southern California and taken into a boarding facility sponsored by a vet clinic, along with several other dogs. There she was assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. More info to come as we get to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: Daniella is a a gal with brains and beauty! She is super smart and treat motivated and has so much potential. She's doing great with the resident dogs and plays really well with them. She loves curling up in any humans lap and napping on them. She would love another dog in her forever home. She does well with verbal corrections (like when she tries to steal shoe-- such a puppy!) and she is quickly picking up on sit and lay down. She is doing fine with potty training and is not especially vocal.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued in southern California as a stray. She will be arriving to Seattle area on Nov 9 via START rescue transport and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.December 8, 2023, 2:52 pm

Story
My name is Narin, and I'm a 1-year and 5-month-old English Black Pointer girl. I have a real soft spot for humans – once I get to know you, I'll be showing off my adorable belly and showering you with all the love and cuddles you could ever dream of. I thrive on affection and sometimes, I can get a little jealous when I see others getting attention. I get along well with other dogs. Although, I must confess, when it comes to food, I can be a bit protective. If you leave a tasty treat lying around, you might hear a little growl from me as I make sure it's safe. But don't worry, I'm working on my table manners. Right now, I'm staying in a foster home, and I've been on my best behavior around the other pups here. My foster parents say I'm a quick learner and always eager to please. Being a Pointer, I've got some quirks that come with the territory. I might let out a howl from time to time, and I've got some impressive speed when I'm on the move. That's why I think I'd thrive in a home with active, young individuals who are ready for adventures. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzEcFIh0FJBMOlIJRUtlXdm

Story
Welcome Gigi to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Gigi is a 3-month-old sweetie. She is a Lab/Pointer is our best guess. She has adorable long floppy ears and webbed feet. She is one of the ones that looks most like the momma dog in this litter. She has a longer tail than siblings but still about 4 inches long. She is one of the bigger girls in this litter. That will be nice when she is big as her tail will not be as likely to knock things off the coffee table. Her feet are big so she should be about a 60 lb dog is our best guess. She has gorgeous grey coat and blue eyes. She is stunningly beautiful and she has webbed feet. She should be a good swimmer with her webbed feet. She is a heavy pup because she has some large bone structure and nice muscles. They are well cared for in their foster home. She is good with other dogs, soft and cuddly when you pick her up and crate trained. She does good on car rides and has been held a lot as a puppy so she is social and adorable. These puppies are not as active as some breeds and we would say moderately active puppies. The momma dog is very gentle and sweet too. If they are like her, they will be wonderful dogs. Gigi is inquisitive and good in her play group. They are not too vocal or big shedders. She is in a family with teenage children and is getting on a good routine. She currently weighs about 15 pounds but they are eating and growing fast. She would be great in a family and would be fine around children. We like them to be 8 or older. There are 10 puppies in this litter. They were all found as strays and a good Samaritan is keeping them while we vet them and find new forever homes. Gigi has gotten her first puppy vaccine, nail trim and will get 2 more before she leaves the Rescue. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.
