Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Give a warm welcome to Maryann! She is a 3-year-old, 27lb Welsh Terrier mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Maryann is a very sweet girl who loves to be right next to her person if not clinging to them. She gives hugs, loves to cuddle and can be found most of the time rolling onto her back for belly rubs. She will need to work on basic obedience and managing her energy. She bonds deeply to one person in the household and would do best in an adult only household without lots of people coming and going and without children. Maryann is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400,

Story
Hi my forever family 🤍 My name is Kong! I’m a 1-year-old girl, about 6kg, and I’m a Welsh Terrier mix with a big personality packed into a small body. I was rescued just before euthanasia, but you’d never guess that from who I am today. I’m bright, cheerful, and full of love. I wake up every day excited about life, and I can’t wait to share that joy with you. I love playing with dog friends, and I really love playing with people even more. Toys are my favorite thing in the world, and I could happily spend hours running, playing, and having fun. I’m still young, so I have lots of healthy energy and I’m always ready for an adventure, a walk, or a play session. I’m smart—really smart! I learn quickly and love interacting with my people. I bond deeply with my family and enjoy every moment of connection and attention. Even though I’m active and playful, I’m not aggressive at all. I’m friendly, curious, and full of charm. Because I’m small, I fit very well into indoor living, but I do best with a family who enjoys an active lifestyle and is ready to spend time walking, playing, and sharing daily activities with me. If you love being outdoors, playing, and giving lots of affection, I think we will be the perfect match. I promise to bring laughter, positive energy, and endless love into your home. I can’t wait to meet you. Love,

These pups are in Bothell, Washington too!

Story
Animal Information: Nutmeg was surrendered to our rescue partners, Animal Advocacy and Rescue Coalition in TX. They were unable to care for her and trusted that she would be responsibly placed through AARC. Nutmegs mama was a Schnauzer, dad is unknown, but she is 100% cute!  Foster Profile:  Nutmeg is a sweet little girl who loves to play with the big dogs. S he is already kenneling with very little whining and settles in easily. She is learning quickly to potty outside and is already using pads consistently at night when she is let out to potty at 2 am (or if needed) She is sweet with everyone and loves to snuggle. She is easily fitting in with the rest of the pack. Learning boundaries when playing as well. At the moment she isn’t too mouthy and when alerted by a quick human yelp she backs off and doesn’t go for the hand again. She adapts and learns quickly so will be an excellent pup to watch grow up. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from our rescue partner AARC in Del Rio, TX. She will be transferred via Alaska Airlines, arriving to foster care on 01/22/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.January 29, 2026, 11:37 am
