Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Give a warm welcome to Maryann! She is a 3-year-old, 27lb Welsh Terrier mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Maryann is a very sweet girl who loves to be right next to her person if not clinging to them. She gives hugs, loves to cuddle and can be found most of the time rolling onto her back for belly rubs. She will need to work on basic obedience and managing her energy. She bonds deeply to one person in the household and would do best in an adult only household without lots of people coming and going and without children. Maryann is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400,

Story
Benji is a sweet little guy with a gentle soul. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, his loving personality quickly shines through. Before coming to the rescue, Benji lived life outdoors and had some hair loss, but now he’s on the mend—his scruffy coat is growing back in, and it just adds to his charm! He’s currently learning all the good stuff about being a spoiled house pup, like walking on a leash and discovering how amazing beds and toys can be. If you have a soft spot for scruffy, adorable boys and a heart for helping a pup continue to blossom, Benji is ready to find his forever home and be your loyal little companion Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi.  My name is Lilly and I am a special girl.  I came to A Doggie 4 You as a feral girl in 2018.  I was trapped on the streets of San Antonio.   When I went to the vet they determined I had heartworms.  I thought I was a goner, but the nice people at the rescue treated me like I was part of a real family.  They treated my heartworms and now I don't have them anymore.  They even put me on a yearly heartworm preventative called ProHeart 12.  The people at the rescue didn't have a clue what my breed was, so they took my picture and ran it through something they call a program.  It said I am Berger Picard  81% and Scottish Terrier 12%.   I was a real little stinker when I got here.  You see I had never been  handled before and I didn't know what kindness was.  It's not easy living on the streets.  Not everyone is nice.  It took awhile, but I learned to trust the gang here at the rescue.  I love going to the play yard with all of my friends and playing.  We get to play twice a day in a large group of over 30 dogs.  The rest of the time I get to live with my doggie family.  I even learned to use a doggy door.  I let my foster momma groom me when my hair gets unruly.  I even tolerate the bath.   I am going to need a family that will go slow with me and let me get to know you.  I have a lot of love to give but I have trust issues.  If you would like to give a girl like me a good home, you can apply for  me at www.adoggie4you.org.  I was born around 05/30/2016 and I currently weigh 27.8 pounds.   I am only available in Texas.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 16, 2026, 4:30 pm

Story
Meet Falcor: A 12 lb one year old Never Ending Snuggle Buddy. Yes his name is Falcor like the luck dragon…no he cannot fly. He will though steal your heart in about 3.7 seconds. This adorable wire haired terrier comes equipped with the most ridiculous tiny human lips and nose you’ve ever seen. Seriously, He looks like he borrowed them from a tiny retired accountant :). Add in his gorgeous soulful hazel eyes and you’ve got a face that should probably be regulated by the govt. Falcor’s hobbies include giving full on neck hugs, delivering kisses, playing with all the toys, making friends with everyone, and staring into your soul for treats and taxes on whatever you’re eating. He is GREAT with all the dogs, cats, kittens, kids… even annoying ones..strangers he can take a few mins to warm up. Hand him a treat and give him a min…he’ll be your BFF. He is crate trained, walks on a leash like a dream, working hard on potty training and nearly there. All Falcor wants is lots of love, hugs, toys ,and to be part of your Never Ending Story. ….well okay, and treats. He really enjoys treats and chew bones, and toys… 🎵 “ Turn around….look at what you see…” 🎶 ….prob Falcore waiting for a treat. Falcor actually is the perfect little dog.
