For nearly two years, Harley has been waiting patiently for his forever family. He arrived at the Humane Society with seven other puppies, and now his last sibling has been adopted, leaving Harley still hoping his turn will come.This sweet Whippet/Rat Terrier mix weighs just 18 pounds, but his heart is enormous. Harley adores people and would be the most loving, loyal guy you’ve ever met.After waiting so long, Harley deserves to know what it feels like to have a family of his own. Story
Hi, I'm Belle. Like a Southern Belle :) I was living on the streets until somebody took my picture one day without my permission... RUDE! They posted my picture on Facebook and animal control picked me up the next day. From there I made my way to a foster home with The Rescue House, where I am learning what its like to be loved and cared for properly.  I am receiving medicated baths 2 times a week for my dermatitis (Don't worry, my hair is growing in nicely)! I also have some large mammary tumors that will need to be removed at the same time they spay me. I wish my previous hoomans had me spayed so I wouldn't have mammary tumors... They are quite uncomfortable. My teeth are rotten and they say they are going to steal some of them from me too. I hope that makes me feel better!!! I am available to be fostered or adopted during my surgery and recovery period. I am looking for a home with someone that will let me cuddle them and let me chew on my toys. I do have a good amount of energy for a "senior dog." I can run fast and play hard.  I am estimated to be around 8 years old, so I have plenty of life ahead of me. I could be a whippet mix, but since I am a rescue dog they say they don't really know.  Please let me live with you FURever!
