Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hershey Hershey arrived from an overcrowded shelter where he and his 7 one-year-old siblings were dumped. Each sibling was quite different from the other. similar body shapes with varying colours. Hershey and Cocoa were the only two reddish-liver colour pups, and their fur resembles that of Aussie shepherds. They are likely very mixed breeds, with Hershey's Whippet characteristics dominant, and Cocoa's Aussie traits showing more in her. Hershey is very shy initially. His fosters are working with him to become accustomed to love, meeting a variety of people, older children, and new dogs. He is doing well on all counts. Hershey will be neutered before going to his forever people. His fosters are getting him on a regular outdoor potty schedule, training him in a harness and lead, and he's living with three people and only one dog. Hershey was relinquished with his family from a home with too many animals. The quiet and calm are new to him, but he seems to relish them. Crates are scary to Hershey, so he is learning to stay in a pen at night with an open crate as a den, so he will not be afraid of a crate when it is time to visit the vet. Hershey has a lovely, sweet, and curious demeanor. He will do well in a home with other friendly dogs, and people who have the time and love to give this gorgeous boy. He needs an adult-only home due to being mouthy. We will update this post as his personality unfolds. **Adopting Hershey** To adopt Hershey, please use the link below.
