She is friendly, sweet and affectionate. She can be a little shy at first, but once comfortable she has a silly/goofy side. Loves to play and run, but also likes affection. Olive is a big time leaner! Olive is very smart and good at picking up on patterns. Olive would do best in an active home with a securely fenced yard (6 foot fence). She is currently in foster apartment home. While she does ok in an apartment, it needs to be quieter (she gets a little uneasy about the surrounding noises) and with an active family. She is a quick learner and eager to please and will need a home that can continue her training (she loves to learn). Olive will need a home without cats. She does better with dogs that are bigger than she is and would prefer to be an only dog. Olive is about 35 pounds worth of energy and delight! Olive would love to have a sponsor. Meg had a rough start to life — she was one of eight puppies rescued from a power plant in Kuwait. When rescuers found her, the group was struggling to survive in harsh conditions. Despite everything, Meg’s gentle and loving nature shone through from the very beginning. She’s great with adults, kids, and other dogs, and loves to be part of the action. True to her sweet spirit, Meg is submissive and adores belly rubs — she’ll flop right over to show you how much she trusts you. But don’t be fooled by her calm moments — once she’s comfortable, she loves to run and play with joyful bursts of energy! Meg walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car (especially in her crate), and is working on her house training. She’s not a barker or destructive, and she’s happiest in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and play. She’d love a canine companion but doesn’t require one — she just needs a family who will give her the love and attention she deserves.
