Story
Ivy is a 5-6 year old, 10 lb girl. She came to us with her two puppies who have since been adopted. Now, it's this mama's turn! Though shy at first, as soon as she warms up, she is your shadow. She just needs patience to get to that point. Ivy is great with other dogs and cats. She is crate-trained and doing well with house-training. She enjoys sleeping in bed and snuggling up right next to you. Ivy enjoys following the other dogs around and learning from them. She is not comfortable on a leash with people she doesn't know and does REQUIRE a fenced in yard. Ivy is pretty quiet in her foster home and very low maintenance. To adopt this little girl, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $300, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental.

Otter is a 2-year-old, 11 lb Xoloitzcuintli mix with a sweet, loving personality. She is happiest when she’s right by your side and truly enjoys being close to her people. Otter is both toy- and food-motivated and loves carrying her toys around, proudly squeaking them as she goes. She enjoys running and playing with other dogs and can happily have dog friends for playtime. However, Otter does not do well sharing resources like toys, so to truly thrive, she needs a home as an only dog. Playdates and supervised romps with other dogs are still a great fit for her! Otter is currently not comfortable walking on leash. We are actively working with her on this, but at this time she requires a securely fenced yard so she can safely exercise and explore. Otter would do best in a home that can provide consistency, patience, and lots of love—along with toys she can call her own. She is working diligently on house-training and crate-training. When she feels safe, her personality truly blossoms. Cherry is crate-trained and mostly pee pad trained. She is also incredibly affectionate and generous with kisses. She greets her people enthusiastically after even the shortest time apart. Cherry also enjoys playful bursts of energy, and despite her tiny size, she knows how to put toys to the test. Her mini-Kong toys have become her favorite. After playtime, she likes to take a nap and often chooses her crate as a safe and quiet place to rest. Meet Piper— an adorable Chihuahua mix! (Perhaps a Chiweenie?) She is around two years old and weighs about 13 pounds. Piper found herself in a local shelter after being seized by authorities in a horrific hoarding case. Due to her lack of socialization, she was at risk for euthanasia. Thankfully, Tiny Paws was able to step up and save her! Due to her past, Piper is a nervous girl and is still learning how to trust, love, and feel safe in this world! Piper’s journey in her foster home hasn’t always been easy, but she’s made great progress. She is still very skittish and easily startled, so she’s looking for an experienced, calm, and understanding adopter who can continue the gentle, patient care she’s been receiving in her foster home. She enjoys snuggling and playing with her foster siblings and we would love to see her go to a home with a confident dog around her size to help show her the ropes! What Piper needs most is a consistent environment where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. With time, love, and patience, we know this sweet girl will continue to shine! Piper is not comfortable on a leash and will require a secure, private fenced-in yard where she can safely play, explore, and potty. Due to her skittish nature, she would not do well in a home with children or with frequent young visitors. A generous supporter is sponsoring part of Piper’s adoption fee. Her adoption fee is $75. ******************** Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area.
