At just 2 years old and 7 pounds, she’s gentle, affectionate, and full of quiet sweetness. Isabella loves staying close, whether she’s curled in your lap or following you from room to room. Her skin is healing from a flea allergy and her coat will be beautiful again in no time!   Most importantly, Isabella is bonded to her best friend, Charmin Softie, a 6.5-pound, smooth-coated gentleman, who brings out her confidence and joy. These two adore each other and find comfort in being together, so they’re looking for a home where they can stay side by side.   If you’re ready for a loving, devoted pair, Isabella Softie will melt into your arms and Charmin will be right there with her. Snuggles is the most outwardly loving of the three sisters—warm, cheerful, and always excited to share cuddles. She came in alongside her sisters, Senora Bubbles and Senora Littlebit, and they all share the same gentle, grateful nature. Snuggles recently had a full dental, and she also has a heart murmur that’s monitored by her vet. She takes a simple preventative heart medication and does wonderfully with it.     Bruce Barrow is a 6-year-old, 11.5 pound, small mixed breed (maybe Min Pin - Chihuahua - terrier?) whose soft spirit makes him impossible not to love. He came to AAU rescue a bit underweight, and should fill out to around 14 pounds with steady meals and kindness.   Shy at first meeting, Bruce is the kind of dog who watches the world carefully before deciding it’s safe. Give him a little time, and his whole demeanor transforms. Once he trusts you, he becomes sweet, gentle, and oh-so-affectionate. Pick him up, and he just melts right into your arms like he’s been waiting his whole life for a person to hold him close.   Bruce Barrow would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands the magic of slow introductions and soft encouragement.
