Age: Estimated DOB 9/4/2023 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Almost Crate trained: No, I'm just a puppy   Adoption Fee: $795 *****Fenced yard and companion dog required***** Buddy is 11 weeks old and he is a Muppet. This puppy is a doodle mix and will probably be mid-sized when grown, and just wants to BE WITH YOU.  Buddy is a puppy, through and through. That's "code" for he wants to be around you, next to you, on you, and help you with everything you are doing. He is a fast learner as he is learning to walk on a leash and mostly potty trained. Although Buddy is vocal, he doesn't bark all that much. Instead he makes cute puppy noises that are adorable. He wants to play a lot and needs a canine friend to play with him.  Buddy would be OK with children as long as he is being supervised.  Buddy has a great temperament and he is good with cats. good in the bath, and he loves riding in the car. He loves to play hard and sleep hard. He is still a puppy and that means sharp puppy teeth, incoordination, and short attention span. He will require basic training or a savvy person who can help him learn.  But even in the worst of times, being a Muppet carries a lot of clout, You wont be able to keep yourself from following in love with him. Story
I am Pete. I am from Missouri! From the foster: Meet Pete! Pete is a mini golden doodle with a double Merle gene. This is why he doesn't look like a traditional golden doodle and is instead spotted. This gene also affects Pete's eyes. He is missing one eye and it is thought that his other has limited vision or no vision at all, which makes Pete blind. This doesn't stop Pete from being the happiest dog around! He loves his people and his dog friends. Pete gets along with any dog that is willing to play with him, ranging from puppy age to senior age. Pete's favorite toy is a blanket, he just thinks they are fun to swing around! He is also learning to play with toys and thinks toys that squeak are pretty fun. Pete is a very sweet dog. He likes to be with his people and cuddle up with them. He has done well with adapting to his surroundings quickly. His foster family is working on some basic commands with him to alert him about his surroundings, such as "up and "down when he approaches stairs. Pete is learning to walk on a leash. He needs some more work with this as he jumps and gets too excited to walk. He just wants his people to pet him! Pete does jump up quite a bit to find his people and investigate his surroundings, but does get down when told no. Pete is potty trained and crate trained. He doesn't yet know to sit by a door to be let out for potty, but doesn't have any accidents when let out on a regular schedule. He sleeps all night in a crate with his snuggle puppy and is quiet until morning. If you are looking for a sweet pup with moderate energy, then Pete might be the guy for you!

Hi! My name is Cybill and I am from Missouri. Hello! My name is Cybill but my foster mom calls me sweet C because I am such a sweetheart! I came from Missouri and am learning what it means to be a pup. I am still learning my manners and potty training is a whole new thing for me. My foster mom takes me outside a lot but I love to chase the leaves instead of use the bathroom. I am learning how to walk on a leash and have been doing that really well! I do not like my crate and would rather cuddle up in bed with you. I love cuddling up on the couch or chewing on toys, rugs, pillows, and cords although I am learning that I cannot chew on some of those things! Cybill has a bit of separation anxiety. She would benefit from someone who is home more often than not, especially with her potty training. Cybill has been introduced to other dogs but not cats.

Story
Hi! My name is Penelope and I am from Missouri. From the foster: Penelope is a very sweet, and gentle puppy. In the short amount of time that we have had her, she has learned so much. She loves going out for walks, exploring and sniffing. She is not afraid of loud noises, cars, garbage trucks etc. She is a confident, and inquisitive puppy while out walking. She greets the kids at the bus stop every morning, and they give her gentle, slow pets and she will stand quietly and enjoys it. She does not jump on them. She is fully potty trained, and crate trained. She is out of the teething stage, so we allow Penelope to free roam at night (she sleeps on the floor in our room usually.) I work remote during the day and she is usually hanging with me in my office playing with toys or snoozing under my desk. If I am running errands, I typically leave her out for 2-3 hours and when I check the Furbo cameras, she is hanging out, looking out the window, or playing with her toys in the living room-being a good girl. She is crate trained though, and will go in if she has to. She rides well in the car too. We took her to the beach for the one day of warmth that we had with her last week, and she went right in, so next summer we imagine she will be a lake dog and learn to swim! Penelope is very gentle with sharing her toys and food. She does not have one mean bone in her body and is submissive. She loves to lay her head on your hand or lap, and will give kisses if you stop petting her. She also loves to get zoomies in the backyard. She loves other dogs. She has not met any cats, but with being how sweet she is, we don't foresee this being an issue. Penelope came from a breeder who did not socialize her as a puppy, so some things are still new- like people. She is curious and wants to say hi- but can be shy at first- she needs someone who will give her more time in the next couple of weeks to keep introducing her to the world. I have no doubt she will continue to come out of her shell everyday and be a social butterfly with people in no time. She came around to us within one day! So give her some patience, time, and help her learn more about humans and this girl is a total keeper! Update! *Penelope did great trick or treating with the neighborhood adults and kids. She kept up with the group walking with us all (15 people,) golf carts zooming, kids running around, and adults chattering. She just ignored the chaos. She even reached out a few times to be pet by the group and sniff some of the kids in their costumes. She is getting more and more curious everyday with people!

Hello, My name is Jovie. I'm a 6 month old mini goldendoodle. I'm house trained, loved to cuddle, and I know how to Sit on command. Did I mention I LOVE food, toys, bones, rugs, shoes, and everything in life? I do have lots of energy so let's come up with a plan for exercise. I love walks and exploring the woods. I haven't really played yet with the other dogs in the house as they ARE BIG and older. Given my high energy I wouldn't be well suited for apartment life and would do well with a home with a yard to burn off some steam or for a family who is willing to bring me to doggy daycare. I had limited training in the beginning of my life but I am a smart quick learner who will need someone willing to continue to work with me. Apply today to meet me and get ready to fall in love! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    DOB: 02/01/2019 Requires another dog in home: Yes, a social and confident dog required Okay with dogs of all sizes: Yes Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: No Weight: 10 lbs Requires a fenced yard:   Yes, needs a fenced yard Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Hello, I’m Peter a very handsome Miniature Poodle but I must admit that when I first came to live with foster mom, I was in rough shape. I mean seriously, my lovely fur was matted and I was absolutely TERRIFIED! That said, foster mom immediately loved me SO much that she got me all cleaned up and cared for in no time! Now, I feel great about myself and am getting more comfortable with home life. I have not met any cats or kids, and I am still afraid of new things, quick/sudden movements, commotion, and loud noises but I am getting better each day. If foster mom is sitting or lying down, I will approach her for loving pets and cuddles but if she’s moving, I keep my distance and will even bolt if she walks towards me so I will need a securely fenced yard. I know what “outside” and “stop” mean but I am still working on leash & potty training, and I bark when in the kennel/crate. I would love to have a canine companion who will help me feel more comfortable, teach me how to ‘dog’, and help build my confidence. I really am a sweet boy who is simply looking for the patience, unconditional love, and security that I SO richly deserve from my own fur-ever family! I really hope that YOU will be my new family because my heart is overflowing with love that I want to share with someone very special! Love, Peter *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared.  Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption.  This will be at the adopters expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses .   Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue.   Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Hello, I'm Rupert Giles, and I'm here to share a little bit about myself! I might come across as cautious and a bit fearful of new things, but let me assure you, I'm a poodle with a heart of gold. My absolute favorite pastime is snuggling up on the couch, watching the world go by. There's something comforting about being close to my humans and observing the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While I might be reserved for most of the day, I do enjoy mixing things up with my foster brothers every now and then. I find solace in their company, and it brings out the playful side in me. When it comes to treats, well, who doesn't love a good snack? I'm not too picky, and I'll gladly accept any tasty treat that comes my way. Now, there are a few things you should know about me. I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to potty training, but I'm getting really close, especially when I have a consistent schedule. I'm also crate trained, so I don't mind spending some quiet time in my cozy space. Although I haven't had the chance to explore the world on a leash, I do enjoy the safety of a fenced yard. New experiences can be a bit overwhelming for me, so I do require a fenced yard. In addition to my cuddle-loving nature, I'm surprisingly okay with kennels and cars. I'm also willing to give humans a chance, despite my initial shyness. If you're looking for a sweet and gentle companion who appreciates the simple joys of life and is just waiting for a loving home to call my own, I might be the perfect match for you. I can't wait to find a family who will cherish me as much as I'll cherish them! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.
