Story
MEET WALLY!!  Wally is a resilient little guy who has known hardship, but you would never guess it from the sweetness in his eyes. After years of neglect, he's finally learning what loves feels like in his foster home. Slowly but surely, he's gaining weight, strength and trust, thanks to gentle care and a steady diet. His days of weakness are behind him, and his heart is opening more every day. He is house trained as long as his routine stays consistent. He's even learned to love his kennel, finding peace and comfort curling up in it at the end of each night. What he loves most though, is simply being near someone who's kind. Once you ease his anxious heart and show him he's safe, he becomes the biggest cuddle bug you've ever met. He's also great with other dogs and would love a buddy to cuddle up with. We think he may not do the best with kids just because he is a bit shy. Are you ready to give this boy the best home he deserves? Meet him today! Story
Very loving nine year old yorkie. He is not great with young children and we are having issues with him and our four year old. He is great with older kids who can handle him gently. Our oldest dog just passed away a few weeks ago and we are finding he is lonely, because he does not care for the four year old we are in a tough situation. When the other dog was around they would spend tons of time outside or sleeping together in their room away from a bouncy toddler. Gizmo now has had a few accidents around the house and I am not sure if this is stress or frustration related. He loves to cuddle and nap, he is older so he does great relaxing. Ideally, I would love a home with a female dog, as was ours that passed, or no dog. Also, a family with teenagers or adults only, he is the size of a chihuahua, he is a miniature yorkie. Thank you for looking at our friend for over nine years!

Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogPlease read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react.   Hi! My name is Larry and I am beautiful Yorkie boy weighing 8 pounds. I need an all-adult home and a small, furry sibling to play and snuggle with is a requirement.  I ride great in the car, love everyone I meet and will make a perfect companion dog. I love to take naps, hang out on the couch and sleep in your bed.  If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Yorkie boy, please ask for me, Larry, on your application to www.breederadoptions.org. 101224-01  April 1, 2025, 12:59 pm

Story
Meet Benny! This affectionate, fun-loving pup is looking for a forever home where he can be the center of attention. He’s the perfect mix of lap dog and adventure buddy—athletic, spunky, and always ready for cuddles. Benny craves love and must sleep in bed with his humans. He would do best as the only dog in the home. He gets jealous if he’s not the one getting all the attention because he never had love his entire life and now that he has it, he doesn’t want to share. Although, he is friendly and playful with all other dogs. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep you active and entertained, Benny is your guy!

Story
Hey, there! My name is Brady and I am a 7 year old 14 lb Yorkshire Terrier. I know I’m adorable and as cute as can be and guess what? I am smart as a whip, too! My original owner had me since I was a pup, but having to move into assisted living made finding me a new home a must. Thank goodness I came to Forever Loved. I’m going to be real honest with you, because dogs don’t lie, I hardly ever got let out and was expected to potty on puppy pads so my house training needs a lot of work. They say I am wicked smart, and super treat motivated, so if you treat me like I am a puppy, reward me immediately when I potty outside, and limit my freedom when you can’t watch me, I promise I can learn! I am very picky about other doggy pals, but really, being with you and playing with toys and puzzles are the best thing ever. I am good on the leash, and I love to go for walks, but I prefer walking in a quiet neighborhood where I won’t see a bunch of other dogs. Let’s just say I bark at them! Here’s my last quirk - I have separation anxiety when you leave me. The trainer here at the shelter has ways that you and I can work on that, so please give me a chance. I have so much character, spunk, and love to spare…
