Story
**LOVEABLE LOUIE** Age 10mos Phoenix AZ. Please help us welcome this precious pup Louie to the FTP family! This little nugget was unfortunately being kept in kennel all the time by a young owner. Some wonderful, caring people convinced her to surrender him and asked us if we could help find him a new home. We of course said YES! Louie is a Yorkshire Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer mix of personality. He is on his way to the vet to get fully vetted, UTD on shots, microchipped and neutered. Here is what we know about him: + Great w/ other dogs + Walks on leash/rides well in car + Free feeding kibble, shares well + Good in kennel + Working on potty training, wearing belly band in house + Loves to play! Active little boy! Loves fetch Loveable Little Louie is lookin' for fur-ever.

Story
** ARIZONA ONLY ** PHOENIX METRO AREA * * Gus is estimated to be between 4-5 years old, and paperwork we received for him indicates he's a yorkie. That said, his ideal weight is a little over 20 pounds (he's not tiny like most yorkies). His personality is huge and full of love. Gus's personality is a little perky and playful, but he'd enjoy a more mild household rather than one with active kids. Older children, maybe in their teens, who understand to be gentle in nature would be fine for Gus as he is very easy going. He does not like to be alone and having another dog in the home would be very beneficial for him -- the dog should be relatively mild. And if there is a retired person or couple who would shower him with love and take him for daily walks, pamper him all day long with love and attention, he would love this too. Gus is current on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and licensed; and he will go home with collar, ID tag, harness, and leash. We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application. Please email to request one.

The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train. Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue. However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react.Hi! My name is Kaylee, and I am a beautiful Yorkie who is 6 years old, and I weigh 11.3 pounds. I am just learning about this big new world so a sibling to help me learn the ropes would be ideal. I need a permanent, full time parent and no children in my new home, please. If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Yorkie, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.Love, Kaylee 121623-13  April 18, 2024, 11:08 pm

I am not potty trained or leash trained as I have lived in a breeding facility my entire life as a stud dog. I have to much to learn to be a normal dog.   If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Yorkie, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.
