Story
Pika's personality can be described as: a cat in a dog's body. He is beautiful but only allows you to pet him on his terms, which is rarely. He grumbles/growls when affection is unwanted and retreats to his crate. He loves laying in the shade. Pika will tolerate dog's in the house but will go after outsiders on/off leash. He takes medication for allergies and she has a collapsing trachea. Pika is potty trained but still needs a belly band indoors to avoid occasional marking. He will do best in a quiet serene setting so not to aggravate his cough by barking. He has lameness in his back legs which cause him to occasionally stumble and fall when walking. For his age, Pika has good pep and will bring cat joy in dog form for many more years. ##1781400##

Story
Meet Rascal! Rascal and his brother Snoopy were entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program after their mom passed away on May 18th. He is 13 years old and weighs 5 lbs. The same day that Rascal and Snoopy became Frosted Faces - May 24th - they were chosen for a two-week Frosted Fling. We learned a lot about what they are like in a home! Their Fling Mom reports: "Snoopy and Rascal love each other and look out for each other. They seek each other out and give each other kisses. - They are the easiest pups to bathe. No problems at all. - They love to eat. Snoopy is eating out of a slow feeder because he gobbles his food quickly. Rascal waits for him to finish so he can lick the bowl. Snoopy goes to get my dog's food but understands "no" and then waits waits patiently. - They sleep through the night, no problem. They are very chill dogs and sleep a lot during day. They have moved into my bed and sleep soundly. - Rascal LOVES squeaky toys and plays with them all. Snoopy doesn't care about toys. - They love going out for walks. Rascal rides in the stroller, but Snoopy is quite the walker. - They love their human. They both love to be by you or on your lap. Snoopy will nudge your hand so you can pet him while sitting by you. They will follow you everywhere. These two are the easiest, most loving pups."

Story
Yoda is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Yoda, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for looking to Adopt a Labrador Retriever or other Mixed Breed Dog from California Labradors Retrievers and More Rescue. Story
Meet this darling Yorkshire Terrier named Willow (aka Leela)! She is so affectionate and loves to give kisses. She also loves to sit in your lap. Willow had to have her eye removed and has very limited vision in the other eye, generally speaking she is considered a blind dog. Although, she only had 8 teeth removed she was already missing well over 20 others which if you do the math it doesn't leave a whole lotta teeth left. She needs a calm home where she would be safe. She does like to run around and is a happy little girl! Willow is about 10 years old and about 8 pounds. If you are a Yorkie lover then get your applications in ASAP.

Story
This is Wicket (yes, like the Ewok)! He is guessed to be around 9-10 years old and just the sweetest dog ever! He absolutely loves his humans and is friendly with all other animals… big and little dogs, cats, small rodents, etc.! When I say friendly he wags his tail and loves to greet and follow around… not a lot of ‘play’ but loves other animals for company :) He really enjoys his walks and needs a home where 1-2 walks a day for at least 20 min each are the norm… smelling is his jam :) He loves to go anywhere and everywhere with us… enjoys car rides, hanging at the beach, riding in the basket on my bike, etc. :) Wicket is a sensitive soul… he doesn’t like change and likes a consistent routine. He is a ‘silent stressor’. His tummy gets easily upset with any changes and he is on a special diet with some probiotics and takes Pepcid about 30 min prior to any meals. But, when on a good routine with a predictable day and food he does really well! He also stresses when he sees people ‘leave’. He struggled the first few days he was with us with loud howling and barking, but now he is fine when we are at work (we have cameras so we check in on him)… but we never let him see us leave, have the TV on, and we never leave him more than 6 hours! Wickett has a little hitch in his get along so stairs can be a challenge and he needs a little assist to get on furniture for snuggle time. He definitely takes a little TLC with meal prep and when leaving, but other than that he is just an adorable, loving, sweet dog and is ready for his furever family:)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ricky was found with his brother running the streets. A friend picked them up and when we found the owner she said she didn't want them back so of course she contacted me and now they are under my rescue. Ricky is a tiny but mighty 6lb happy and friendly guy that just wants attention. He's your typical lap dog and so eager to please. He tends to get scared of young children so we feel that he would be best suited with a family that have no children or have older considerate children that are 13 or older. Hes a wonderful companion dog and loves to play with other young friendly female dogs. If you live in LA, San Diego or surrounding area own a home with a yard and a secured fence and would love to adopt Ricky, then please complete our adoption application at tlck9rescue.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 16, 2024, 12:49 am
