Chrome entered Riverside Department of Animal Services as a stray, and sadly, no one came to claim him. He is estimated to be 10 years old, weighs 12.4 lbs., and is very sweet. He loves pets and snuggles and is great with other dogs and cats, too. This cutie pie is a gem! Chrome went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn more about him while he received lots of TLC in the comfort of a home. Here's what we learned from his foster family: "Chrome is very mellow all the time. He is friendly and comes up to strangers to ask for pets. He loves couch cuddles. We have a cat, and he had absolutely zero issues with it. He doesn't follow the cat or try to chase it. He also isn't interested in the litter boxes at all. Chrome enjoys walks around the block and is a pretty fast walker despite his past back leg injury. During walks, he passes other dogs without needing to stop and say hello. He never barks when other dogs are barking. When he gets tired, he loves to hang out in the stroller. A day in the life with Chrome was eating breakfast and going on a walk around the block. Coming back to nap and hang out for the day with a few walks in between. Finish the day with a good bowl of dinner and some couch cuddles before bedtime. Sweet Falco was surrendered to San Jacinto Valley Animal Shelter after his beloved owner passed away. With no one left to care for him, this tiny senior found himself scared and confused in a shelter kennel. We welcomed Falco as a Frosted Face on February 20th. He is 13 years old and weighs 18 lbs.
