I am a shy quiet boy, a love bug really, but a bit confused after living with my mom for 5 years. My mom said she had to move away to a place where she could not have me, I was so sad, we had been there for each other all those years and never even went anywhere during COVID! I had always lwondered when we went on our road trips, why I had to stay in a different room every-time, all by myself, where there were always noisy people outside my door…and of course I barked like crazy for my mom, worrying that something was happening to her on the other side of the door!! But then when i found out gambling was more important than me, I freaked out!! That’s when she gave me to her sister, who had 3 scary men who didn’t like me, who were mean to me… and then sister got sick could take care of all of her dogs. So guess what…?! After all those years, with open arms, I came back to my loving rescuer And I’m still here because she won’t let me go just anywhere to anyone, ever again, sometimes I still am so confused, and I still worry so much that she will be ok without me, because now my rescue mom says I am a Velcro dog !!! lol
I still do love Walkies and I need them, I’m pretty good on a leash and I know some commands and I’m housebroken!! I know how to use a doggie door, and I can run fast. I am always close with my person after I know you, not a big fan on being held, but I do ok with a groomer, and I do need Grimm every month or so. But you’ll find me a cuddle bug, cuddled up next to you on the couch watching TV you’re in bed, and I like to burrow close next to MY person. I prefer someone who likes to take me with them, even into the next room, especially if there’s food involved…heehee which is why I need somebody that can walk me because I put on a few pounds to my beautiful little body
I prefer women over men. Crazy dogs, male dogs and big dogs make me nervous! I would like to find another Mom that I can take care of in a quiet home who likes walks, no cats or kids, maybe a retired mom. Please let my rescue know if you are that home and mom. Rescue mom says to tell you that I come with big, beautiful gift bag and food for a year!
