No out of state adoptions , Northern california will Not BE accepted. NOthing in the LA or La county will not be accepted. -- Needs to be in orange county - parts of South county is fine, or Yorba LINda -- prefer Orange County if possible Poor thing been Bounced around quite a bit.. Unforanately -- someone older lady couldn't take care of him any longer so this younger lady finally got him. Due her work schedule she couldn't keep him. Now he going to our rescue organization as of 7/8/24 he will be with Girls of Dog Rescue. Puppy criteria--- Puppies in our rescue MUST have another dog in the home between 1-4 years old under 15 pounds roughly -- Will not be able to go into a home by himself without any other dog present. He’s dog friendly Cat friendly Kid friendly He’s still potty training I noticed he only uses the restroom in the restroom -- NOT POTTY TRAINED He weighs about 16 pounds I’m guessing because he’s kind of heavy 8 months He’s not neutered or spayed-- Be scheduling soon as possible get him neutered. Not vaccinated --- tomorrow-- 7-7-24 Current location is Santa Ana California He doesn’t bite He gets A little anxiety --but I think it’s because he’s still adjusting to new things The owner has had him for 8 months-- the owner is getting older and she can take care of him and she just lost her husband. Meet 4 year old, 17 lb Yorkshire Terrier, Lacie. Lacie was turned in to rescue with two other pups. She's a friendly but cautious girl who recently had puppies, as evidenced by her belly. Lacie can be head shy, so a home without young children is a must. She likes to be pet behind her ears and will give kisses and roll over for belly rubs when she's comfortable with you. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. Only Southern California applicants will be considered Daisy (aka Chiquita) was recently pulled from the City of Los Angeles North Central Animal Shelter. She had many medical issues which we are in the process of addressing. She will need a dental, spay, have mammary tumors removed and have her eye and skin problems treated. Rudi is a 8-10 year old Maltese mix and is very sweet despite living a life of neglect. He has a grade 4 of 6 heart murmur which will just need to be monitored ongoing. He does NOT require medication at this time. Rudi will need to stay on a urine friendly diet to prevent bladder stones. Rudi also had two cracked incisors which will be removed when he’s neutered. His bloodwork looks great and we got him all cleaned up and groomed! Rudi is well mannered around his foster home and is on the mellow side. He is friendly with new people he meets, other dogs, cats and kiddos too!
