We recently rescued Chewy (short for Chewbacca) from a neglectful situation. We have had him for about a month and would love to keep him but are at the pet limit for our apartment. He has great leash manners, is potty trained, and gets along great with our cats. He is such a sweet, loving boy who enjoys curling up next to you on the couch. He loves going for walks and does great in public. He’ll make an amazing addition to your family! He appears to be crate trained. We took him to the groomers on 3/12/26 and they told us he did great. We had him shaved as his prior neglect had left his hair matted beyond what could be brushed out. We have not taken him to the vet yet but he does not have any apparent health issues that we have seen. We are unsure of his exact breed, but he looks terrier in the face and had curly hair before we had to get him trimmed.

Meet Toby! He is an adorable 5-year-old pup who weighs about 10 pounds and has the most charming, unique look. He appears to be a delightful blend of Yorkie and Poodle, with a Yorkie-style coat and coloring paired with long, lanky legs that give him a hint of mini Poodle flair. Quiet, calm, and incredibly loving, Toby is a true cuddle enthusiast and an excellent couch or office companion who is happy to relax nearby while you go about your day. Toby is affectionate and playful with other dogs and is especially gentle and respectful with senior pups, though he is not a fan of cats. He absolutely adores kids and would do best in a home with children 6 and up, as toddlers may be a bit overwhelming for him.
