Story
King is a sweet, playful, house-trained, 9-year-old yorkie. He is great with kids, but may get overwhelmed when they are rough with him and will run to "mom". He loves the outdoors and will, sometimes, sit and let the wind blow in his fur. He has great recall and has never bitten another animal or person.

Story
Hi, I'm Delilah Daisy, but my friends call me DD! I’m an 8-year-young Yorkie Terrier mix, weighing in at just 6 pounds of pure cuteness. I may be tiny, but I’ve got a heart as big as they come and a personality that’ll steal yours in a heartbeat! I found myself at a county shelter through no fault of my own, but thanks to Angels Rescue, I’m now safe and thriving in a loving foster home. My foster mom has cared for over 100 dogs, and she says I’m one of her all-time favorites! I’m sweet, snuggly, and always make her smile with my silly little antics. I’m also nearly housetrained. One of my favorite things in the world is being close to my people. I love curling up next to you on the couch and would happily spend hours on your lap.  I enjoy exploring the fenced backyard and walk well on a leash. Even though I have short little legs, I can tackle stairs just fine—no need to carry me! I get along wonderfully with other small dogs and would thrive in a calm home with older children, just to keep things safe for someone my size. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will stick by your side and fill your days with joy, cuddles, and unconditional love, I just might be your perfect match.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          May 11, 2025, 3:20 pm

Story
Looking for a dog with a little zip in his step, but not too much? One that’s excited to see you when you come home, even if you were just in the back yard? One who likes riding in the car and meeting new people? Then comes evening, he’s ready to snuggle up while you watch your favorite shows or read a book. Bedtime and he’s ready to go. He likes to share some space in the human bed for some sweet dreams, but will sleep on a dog bed on the floor next to you.     York may be well into his senior years, but he’s still got a whole lot of living to do. He lost his home at this stage of life and is looking to spend the rest of his life with someone special. He needs someone who doesn’t mind him wearing a belly band, he sometimes will mark and needs to go out frequently. He loves a walk and it helps in getting the bowels moving. He does like to be around his human so someone home a lot would be perfect.    York is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. And if you can accommodate his needs, you can be best of pals! Fill out an application to come meet him! It might be love at first sight! Story
Meet Abel! Abel was one of 3 senior Yorkies surrendered to RMG when their elderly parents could no longer care for them.   Abel is about 15 yrs old and a stout 13 lbs. He's a calm, gentle old guy who loves to bask in the sun before it gets too hot. His daily trips to see all of his friends at the small dog park with foster mom are the highlight of his day! He'd love to find a like minded soul to spend the rest of his Golden Years with! Abel does have Cushings Disease but is stable on daily medication. He also has a luxating patella and arthritis in one back leg, but at his age surgery isn't an option. His foster mom is a massage therapist and treats his leg with laser therapy and massage, with pain meds from the vet on hand if needed. Interested in being an integral part of this amazing boy's story? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org ##2369633##

Story
Meet Shyla, the sweetest little gal in the South! Shyla has had a tough time but is learning to thrive and live her best life. This adorable pup is around 7 years old and is currently learning her indoor potty manners. She is a bit overweight and is on a weight loss journey. Shyla has beautiful star-shaped markings in her eyes caused by minor calcium deposits, but don’t worry; she sees well and just needs eye drops to manage this condition! She loves cats and gets along well with all other animals, showing a friendly nature toward everyone. Shyla truly deserves a loving family that will show her the kind side of life. If you think you might be a good match for this sweetheart, apply today! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
