Story
Senior sweetie Gidget is looking for a family to live out her golden years with. BASICS: – Female – 13 years old – 8 pounds – Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, recent bloodwork, recent dental – Dog friendly – Mostly potty trained, pad trained in lieu – Couch potato with little bursts of spunk PERSONALITY: Gidget is an adorable little sweetheart! She loves belly rubs & she loves her toys. She would be happiest with an adopter she could snuggle up with at night. And provide her with plenty of soft comfort bedding during the day. And toys... ALL the toys. Gidget can be shy and timid at first, but warms up quickly. ENERGY: Her energy level is mostly Couch Potato with little bursts of energy - for food, treats, toys & playtime, etc. She's 13 but still has a nice amount of spunk. She does the cutest little "happy dance" when she's anticipating her food. DOGS: She is dog friendly with other seniors and might even play with the right companion. She appreciates her own space though and will make her displeasure known should anyone cross her invisible boundaries. (typical senior dog behavior) POTTY: She is "mostly" house trained, though she will not tell you when she needs out. So potty pads are a must. She'll use the potty pads but might not always hit her mark. (even if you add extra potty pads) I would suggest placing potty pads over any carpet you'd like to keep safe, as she doesn't always make the distinction between the two. CRATE: She is crate trained but can have her moments. She would do best in a home that didn't require her to be crated 8 plus hours a day though. (she might be safe to leave out, eventually, or maybe in her own room when no one is home - she doesn't get into anything, unless food is involved) CAR: She quietly rides in a travel crate. MEDICAL: Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped. Recent bloodwork done (nothing concerning). Recent dental done (cleaned and 8 teeth removed). A few typical senior type things, e.g. some arthritis and dry eye, but no major medical issues known. Mammary tumors were noted when she was recently spayed, but doctor believes they may decrease in size or remain stable in size as her estrogen levels drop (due to finally being spayed). LOCATION: In foster in Dallas, GA. AVAILABILITY: Available for adoption or foster-to-adopt (FTA). FTA is a two week, commitment free and pressure free, trial run to make sure things are a match before sealing the deal. Story
Greetings, Zazu is a special guy. He was born 2/20/18. I have had him since. He's fun with a lot of personality. He enjoys/annoys other dogs. He has a distinct bark (dry, deep, hoarse, lol!) That's what makes him unique! HE'S very cuddly and a sleepy head for the most part. He's used to getting groomed, so he's aware of being touched. And of course pampered. I moved out of state in 2024. Since then he's been with my family. My family has requested I rehome him as they already have two other dogs. I cannot take him with me toy new residence, so I'm looking for someone who'd live Zazu just as much as me abd my family. He will give you the same in return.

Story
Meet Hanna Barbera: A pint-sized homebody with a huge heart. Name: Hanna Barbera Age: 11 years young Breed: Yorkshire Terrier Mix Gender: Female Weight: 10 pounds of pure devotion (once she gets to know you) Are you an expert in the art of patience? Do you believe the best things in life are worth waiting for? Then you might be the perfect person for Hanna Barbera. Hanna Barbera is a distinguished lady who takes a minute to warm up. When she first meets new people, she employs a security protocol of barking and requiring a respectful distance to be maintained. The password to bypass this system is a combination of tasty treats, personal space, and a few days of patience. Once you're in, you're in for life. After she’s decided you’re her person, get ready for a loyal shadow. Hanna Barbera is the ultimate velcro dog, but with a twist, she’s not a lap dog. Instead, she’s a professional thigh-snuggler, preferring to press herself against your side on the couch. If you're busy, she's perfectly content to curl up in her own bed and dream of, presumably, you. This little lady has an impressive resume: Skills: Knows "sit," house-trained, has excellent recall (because she never strays far from her favorite human). Habits: Sleeps soundly through the night, rides beautifully in the car, and is a fantastic eater, though she prefers to dine in private, away from other pets. She’s mostly non-destructive, with a particular fondness for "customizing" dog beds that aren't made of sturdy material. Hanna Barbera is a proud homebody. Car rides are fine, but busy public places like stores are overwhelming for her. She finds her greatest joy in the comfort of a familiar space, taking "sniffaris" and napping in sunny spots. Her Ideal Home: Hanna Barbera is looking for a quiet, predictable home where she can truly shine. People: She needs a family where someone is home most of the time, as she gets anxious if left alone for more than four hours. Older, dog-savvy children are okay; the unpredictable energy of toddlers is too much for her. Other Pets: She can peacefully coexist with calm dogs who respect her boundaries after a very slow introduction period (think weeks, not days). She is not looking for a playmate. A home with cats is not a fit, as she believes they are for chasing. Environment: A private, fenced-in yard would be a dream come true, giving her a safe space for her sunbathing and sniffing adventures. Neighborhood walks are currently a bit too stressful for her. Hanna Barbera has made huge strides in her foster home, learning to trust and relax. She’s a sensitive soul who has so much love to give to the right person. If you're ready to offer the gentle patience she needs to blossom, you'll be rewarded with a fiercely loyal and loving companion for years to come.
