Story
Senior sweetie Gidget is looking for a family to live out her golden years with. BASICS: – Female – 13 years old – 8 pounds – Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, recent bloodwork, recent dental – Dog friendly – Mostly potty trained, pad trained in lieu – Couch potato with little bursts of spunk PERSONALITY: Gidget is an adorable little sweetheart! She loves belly rubs & she loves her toys. She would be happiest with an adopter she could snuggle up with at night. And provide her with plenty of soft comfort bedding during the day. And toys... ALL the toys. Gidget can be shy and timid at first, but warms up quickly. ENERGY: Her energy level is mostly Couch Potato with little bursts of energy - for food, treats, toys & playtime, etc. She's 13 but still has a nice amount of spunk. She does the cutest little "happy dance" when she's anticipating her food. DOGS: She is dog friendly with other seniors and might even play with the right companion. She appreciates her own space though and will make her displeasure known should anyone cross her invisible boundaries. (typical senior dog behavior) POTTY: She is "mostly" house trained, though she will not tell you when she needs out. So potty pads are a must. She'll use the potty pads but might not always hit her mark. (even if you add extra potty pads) I would suggest placing potty pads over any carpet you'd like to keep safe, as she doesn't always make the distinction between the two. CRATE: She is crate trained but can have her moments. She would do best in a home that didn't require her to be crated 8 plus hours a day though. (she might be safe to leave out, eventually, or maybe in her own room when no one is home - she doesn't get into anything, unless food is involved) CAR: She quietly rides in a travel crate. MEDICAL: Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped. Recent bloodwork done (nothing concerning). Recent dental done (cleaned and 8 teeth removed). A few typical senior type things, e.g. some arthritis and dry eye, but no major medical issues known. Mammary tumors were noted when she was recently spayed, but doctor believes they may decrease in size or remain stable in size as her estrogen levels drop (due to finally being spayed). LOCATION: In foster in Dallas, GA. AVAILABILITY: Available for adoption or foster-to-adopt (FTA). FTA is a two week, commitment free and pressure free, trial run to make sure things are a match before sealing the deal. APPLY HERE: joyspromise.org/adopt – Note: If you are interested in adopting, please COMPLETE AN APPLICATION THROUGH OUR WEBSITE. Inquiries on adoption sites is not an application. Your inquiry will not be seen until you complete an actual application at joyspromise.org/adopt

Story
Rocky is a sweet boy. he listens very well. he is potty trained. such a good boy it breaks my heart to have to do this. he is a little finicky.. he has anxiety. but he does great with people. he can be around other animals he just needs to get used to them. he doesn't like to play with other dogs but he will sniff them and be calm if they are calm as well. he just doesnt like rough play or a lot of movement going on. my main concern is his teeth. when I initially adopted him he needed some work done.. I havent been financially stable to get the work done and I feel bad. he basically needs the teeth pulled because his previous owners neglected to take care of them. other than that hes healthy and like I mentioned before he such good boy, listens SO WELL. thats the only things the previous owners did right was train him!! I feel like I need to give him a better home. I feel like I am neglecting him because I don't have job cant take care of things finically and give him what he deserves!

Story
At just 4 pounds and 2 years old, Rosie proves that the biggest personalities often come in the tiniest packages. This Yorkie girl is smart, sassy, and fully aware that she’s adorable. Rosie is doing great with both pee pads and outdoor potty breaks. When she goes outside, she’s carefully supervised due to her petite size and the local birds of prey -- safety first for this little lady. She’s currently fostered with cats and dogs and gets along well with everyone… though she definitely believes she’s the boss of the household. Confident and charming -- that’s Rosie! When she’s not running the show, Rosie is all about comfort and closeness. She loves dog beds, adores being held and cuddled, and happily sleeps in bed with her foster parents every night. If you’re looking for a devoted snuggle buddy, she’s your girl. Rosie would thrive in a home that appreciates a smart, affectionate, big-personality pup who wants to be involved in everything you do -- preferably from your lap or a cozy bed nearby. If you’re ready to welcome a tiny dog with a huge heart (and a little sass), Rosie is ready to rule your home. Please note we will not consider homes with dogs larger than 15 lbs for Rosie. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $500, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.

Story
Shadow Sky  is an adorable 2-year-old Yorkie mix with a gentle, loving heart and a calm, cuddly personality. This sweet 10-pound boy loves nothing more than being close to his people and soaking up affection. He’s especially cute when he hops around like a tiny deer—his playful high jumps are sure to make you smile! Shadow Sky gets along well with everyone—men, women, kids, and other small dogs—and though he’s a little shy at first, he warms up once he feels safe. He’s submissive, never aggressive, and prefers quiet companionship over high-energy play. He’s still working on his potty training and marking, but he’s making progress and will soon be neutered, which should help. Because he can bark when left alone, he’d do best in a single-family home (no apartments or condos). His requirements include a fenced yard and someone home to keep him company most of the time. He’s still learning about leash walks and may need patience as he gains confidence. If you’re looking for a loyal snuggle buddy with a sweet spirit and adorable personality, Shadow Sky would love to be your little shadow.
